Hi, yourself, Sue. I am actually from Indiana, but loved visiting here as a girl with my grandparents. I have just one picture of my grandmother before she was married and it is her on Grant Ave. in a flapper's dress!(Thought your son-in-law might like a smile.) As for the weather, well let's just say we are getting great use of our basement this year. We are still dry here, flooding is a few miles away; and we only need new shingles, not like neighborhoods just a few blocks away. Through our many moves, we've been through earthquakes, hurricanes, and Northeasterns, but I hate Tornados!

Linda, I am so sorry!!!!! I do not know where I left my brain. Maybe last Friday's tornado took it. Anyway, I am sorry I called you Sue, that's my sister's name and I somehow typed that in for your note, sorry. Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth, it was part of a wonderful family weekend in Sydney where we caught Jesus Christ Superstar and the Addams Family stage shows, went to the Aquarium, Madame Tussaud's, the Sydney Zoo and the Sydney Observatory amongst other things. We were all exhausted by the time we got back and my wife and eldest son are still asleep at 9:15am. Luckily it's a public holiday here so it doesn't matter!

Hi, Chris, Wow, I'm exhausted just reading about what you have done! Here, in Missouri, we are just quietly celebrating another day of cool rain. No, really. After the drought of the last few years, even the flooding of the Mississippi (which is currently 1.74 miles away and lapping at our town slowly) has not got us down.
