July 30, 2009 I went back to one of my favorite Florida places, Gatorland Zoo, armed with my new Canon. In bright light it captures even moving objects quite clearly. I had been trying for years to get "this shot."

Mission accomplished..peace. I can understand how you feel..:)..good capture.Me too got a new canon.No dslr tho..was eagerly looking forward for that..mmm someday I will get it.

Another great pic! I want to just reach out & touch him. That's a really cool looking eye! Guess I never looked very closely at a flamingo face before. Thanks for allowing me to do that today.

What a shot! The clarity is amazing, Jim. I can see a little droplet of water at the end of the beak. Wow.
