In the distant background, the original Naval Observatory. Some idiot thought Foggy Bottom would be a good place for an observatory. Uh, duh. Foggy. Bottom. Two strikes right there. The new observatory is in Massachusetts Heights. Far better location!

Nice icicles, Sarah. Good view. I agree about Foggy Bottom not being a good location for an observatory. Snow doesn't seem to be covering all the ground under the trees. Either lots more melted or the wind didn't let it stay there.
