Granddaughters at top of Meteor Crater; the crater is more than a mile and a half across; the "dots" near the bottom are buildings; the NASA astronauts used this crater to test their spacesuits before their trip to land on the moon. This crater is privately owned and on a working cattle ranch, but they have an excellent visitors center with lots of information on meteor impacts throughout the world.
