I've only seen 2 glaciers in real life! They're both in NZ: the Fox & the Franz Joseph glaciers.

I have seen glaciers in New Zealand and in - Canada! (But I didn't see you!) They are very cold. The ones I saw had a distinct lack of anything green near them. And did I mention - COLD!

Another phenomenal photo, Mr. Greg! Wow! Where were you when you photographed this glacier? I'm awfully glad this is a big photo - it gave me a chance to really look at the detail of the rocky slopes and the vegetation.
