..Your question made me chuckle...that is my first granddaughter, now 34 years old and mother to my first great grand, now 7 years old...Reina was our travel buddy and went everywhere with us when she was little.

Liz...I'm not nutty....I was responding to my FB avatar and just saw this one... That sweetie is my 13-year-old fur baby Jazz...he is a cairn terrier and simply one special dog. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old and he has helped me through many of my life challenges. Sadly, he has epilepsy and the seizures have taken their toll. He also has a stomach mass that I will not have removed due to his age, the physical toll, and medical history...so I'm just keeping him happy as long as possible before having to part for a while. Sorry for the confusion...but hey, I'm old...Lol. See you around.

Thank you so much to all the people who have wished me a happy birthday. It has been bright and sunny but somewhat spoiled by the news that our truck has a problem with the air-con, so we can't depart for Portugal as intended tomorrow. We'll just have to wait and see...

Thank you, Anne and Greg. Had a lovely but busy day. We have been away with our caravan to Spain and Portugal for the last month, celebrating Pete's son's wedding. It was super! But when we returned, the grass was waist high, the weeds were just horrendous but we froze 2.8 Kg of peas yesterday and 1.8 Kg of broad beans today. All of the washing is dry, which is just as well as rain is forecast for tomorrow.. So it will have to be housework!!

Yes, I believe you nailed it, 'Love in the Mist' (Nigella). They show up every year in a couple of our flower beds, even though we never planted them. Perhaps some former owner of the property got them established.
