A hippo tree???? What's the significance??
Good morning to all! There is a childrens entertainer called Raffi who sang 'We fish you a merry christmas and a hippo new year'.
Possible link?

Well Done,Nice hippo tree
One of my great aunts, now deceased by many years, used to tell the story of a woman who got on a bus. The only available seat was next to a man who had only one arm. She sat for a while, glancing at him and trying to figure out how to find out what had happened to the other arm. Finally, unable to More...

only 2 months to x'mas... how time flies!
Where did someone find a hippo that large? I notice it has a baby replica on its knee. How do you get the presents under the hippo without being squished!
That Hippo could tangle with King Kong!!
I think I used to go out with her.
It’s a mistake to invite the MIL for Christmas; she will always make an exhibition of herself.
A lot of interruption - but did it anyway.
7:23 Just when you think you saw it all then a hippy tree. Kinda makes you wonder what they were smoking?
Where did the Hippo go after Christmas?

Cute!
Now I've seen everything! Hope this family has a big basement.
This picture is just begging for a bit more of an explaination. Who had a life-size hippo in their family room for Christmas?

can someone tell me the relevance of a giant hippo tree to christmas?
have a great day/night one and all
Too cool. I've heard that 'Hippopotamus for Christmas' song before. God help me if I ever have to hear it again, but the hippo 'tree'...just too cool.
Neat!
I must say that I lived in Illinois in 1997, and I did not have a hippo for a Christmas Tree. I liked fraser fir, it has a wondeful smell!
I like the Boyden version: Wee fish ewe a mare egrets moose panda hippo gnu year!
Sorry, but that is just wrong!
What a great idea. Looks good.Raining tonight but not cold.

8:40 Hi to all.

Behold the hippopotamus!
We laugh at how he looks to us,
And yet in moments dark and grim
I wonder how we look to him.

Peace, peace, thou hippopotamus!
We really look all right to us,
As you no doubt delight the eye
Of other hippopotami.
