Maen, everyone! Good morning/day to all of you who are not going off to zzzz-land...
Gotta take hubbby's car in to get his tire fixed this morning. He hit a pothole & it won't hold air. That's the next worst thing besides snow about living in the northern climes! Will have to play later!

and todays Geese lesson..
Geese Fact: The geese flying in formation honk to encourage those up front to keep up their speed.
Our Lesson: We need to make sure our honking is encouraging. In groups -- where there is encouragement to stand by one's heart or core values and encourage the same in others -- is the sort of honking we seek

very overcast this morning - don't care for the darnkness once again when the children leave for school, but I'm sure this will change quickly and the sun will once again grace our lands. I'm going to read some spring poems during my mediatation water class this morning. may be More...

2:04 Hi to all. Where was that taken?

Thought for the Day(for Glinda):

If people were meant to pop out of bed, we'd all sleep in toasters.

11/Mar/08 1:52 AM
hi all! André are you sure you don't have a storm?!!!! You're supposed to have!
11/Mar/08 2:02 AM

"When one engine fails on a twin-engine airplane you
always have enough power left to get you to the scene
of the crash."

Nite to the aussies! Mymare - I agree, I am ready for spring, and we don't even have a "real" winter here in Texas. Tho' we did have snowflakes a couple of days ago!! It is miserable, cold, rainy today - I am glad I am on "spring" break and don't have to get out for a while. Still need to head to school and get some things done, but on my own time.

I am still waiting for it Fiona, it has hit further South but think I am to be spared... at least from here(read my window) the trees are not bending yet.
11/Mar/08 2:12 AM
hi André.. if you not yet signed off, just chk some special toaster humor to follow..
11/Mar/08 2:16 AM
If Xerox made toasters...
You could toast one-sided or double-sided. Successive slices would get lighter and lighter. The toaster would jam your bread for you..
11/Mar/08 2:17 AM
(gee, I liked the cuppa!!)
If Sun made toasters...
The toast would burn often, but you could get a really good cuppa Java..
11/Mar/08 2:18 AM
If Hewlett-Packard made toasters...
They would market the Reverse Polish Toaster, which takes in toast and gives you regular bread..
(looks like a fair deal afterall)
11/Mar/08 2:19 AM
brilliant anu x

11/Mar/08 2:21 AM
And, of course:

If Microsoft made toasters...
Every time you bought a loaf of bread, you would have to buy a toaster. You wouldn't have to take the toaster, but you'd still have to pay for it anyway. Toaster'95 would weigh 15000 pounds (hence requiring a reinforced steel countertop), More...
11/Mar/08 2:21 AM
If Apple made toasters...
It would do everything the Microsoft toaster does, but 5 years earlier....
11/Mar/08 2:23 AM
very pretty picture.
to all - just a quick 'zip' through tonight, then off to bed...
11/Mar/08 2:24 AM
Last but not the least.....
If Sony made toasters ...
Their "Personal Toasting Device", which would be barely larger than the single piece of bread it is meant to toast, can be conveniently attached to your belt...
(you can hide it in your Straight Jacket..)
11/Mar/08 2:26 AM
Think have fed the ppl from west a bit too much with all that toaster talk!!
bye folks...
