I was so sure I wasn't going to the first today because of the internet speed. Ah, well. I'll break down and actually make a pot of coffee - for the hard working and much maligned internet service providers.

Since they can't absorb very much liquid through the keyboard at any one time, More...

Driving back from the grocery store yesterday my engine light came on. I do hope it's not anything serious. My van is only 21 years old. It should be good until I quit driving 10 years from now.

Yellowstone is amazing. I'm glad it's a park. Some things should be left alone and not developed.
19/Nov/10 12:10 AM
Plum I like MooMoo, but usually use Hazelnut from the same company.
19/Nov/10 12:11 AM
That's an awe inspiring sight!! One day I'll have to visit Yellowstone.

19/Nov/10 12:20 AM
If it's about to rain, it's humid. UGGH!
19/Nov/10 12:22 AM
Isn't anybody going for it?
19/Nov/10 12:29 AM
OK, then... I will.

Two to Twenty-Two!

Eve! You're still awake. And you changed your avatar. I'm still in my pjs and it's 8:30 a.m. The house is too cold to change clothes right now. The woodstove takes time to heat things up.
19/Nov/10 12:33 AM
You are right, Heidi... A 'duh!' lapse for sure!
19/Nov/10 12:34 AM
Dorthea, you are more than welcome to my half & half. I'm glad for the excuse to open it. The creamers were on sale and I had coupons, so only paid 50 cents each for them. I thought I'd take them into church. We go through a lot of creamer there.
19/Nov/10 12:35 AM
Plum, I always switch into sweats in the morning because my PJ's aren't warm enough. Looks like I'm dressed, but ...NOT!
19/Nov/10 12:37 AM
The humidity goes up day by day, locally called "the build-up",showers some evenings, then "the wet".The average is about 24"per annum(most in Jan/Feb/March.The Wet Season.)Hot and sticky.

So, we've been studying New England and I discovered I'd like to visit Burlington, VT some day. Education definitely broadens one's horizons. We also studied Cambridge, MA and now we'll be studying Concord, NH today.
19/Nov/10 12:47 AM
If anyone has any favorite places to visit in New England, can you please pass them along for us to look up?
19/Nov/10 12:47 AM

Plum, one of my all time favorite places is Mystic, Connecticut. Lots of history and a great town to visit.

maen, all Y'all

Back in my scouting days, Kathy, I spent two weeks in the bowels of a ship in Mystic, Kathy. And, no, I wasn't incarcerated. While pretty touristy, the town does take you back in time and give you a wonderful feeling.
19/Nov/10 1:33 AM
Last time I was there was in the Fall. It was spectacular! The town itself is fun (and actually quite educational), but the whole area is beautiful.
19/Nov/10 1:40 AM
Being in the bowels of something does not make for a pleasant image, Judy. Especially since I'm married to a Parasitologist.
19/Nov/10 1:41 AM
We had a passing thought about living there, until we passed a thought about the winters.
19/Nov/10 1:42 AM
Good Morning all. Looks like a brisk day.
19/Nov/10 1:43 AM
It certainly looks a very rugged landscape.
