Making the most of a little sunshine but still lurking between garden and coffee/sudoku

all! Wow! I went to bed on page 3 & woke up on page 5. Who'd a thunk it? Congrats to all and a big thank you to our friends from down under for keeping things going while we northerners slept.

It's a rainy day here - much needed for the gardens. The sugar snap peas, spinach, leaf lettuce and French fillet beans are up, but no sign of the carrots yet. A male & female mallard duck have wandered up from the river and are sheltering under a shrub. Just another day in paradise.

Well, it's certainly exciting to log on here in the morning and find we've done another 5 pager.

I am off to play cards in a few minutes, but will try and get back this afternoon to run up the comments for another day. Really great to see all our old friends back again!

Good morning Kathy. It is exciting! I keep checking to see if anyone else is up and at 'em. Must go for now to do a few chores. The most important one is ironing the 24 quilted Christmas placemat tops I've just finished.

No one else seems to be around. Could this be the last post?
