Well, I was a (world renown) Mathematician but I also programmed the UNIVAC I in 1954 so got interested in computers. While I did not take (there were none) CS courses, I taught myself and began teaching CS courses in addition to Mathematics. Here at the University of Texas at Dallas, I served as the first Head of the CS Department. Later, when the Engineering School was formed, I served as the first Master of the College. Later I served a term as Head of the Computer Engineering Program. I also taught EE classes. Last year I published 'Introduction to ARM Assembler' but my first book was 'Foundations of General Topology' in 1964.

Ah, well, now we can learn that Wolf's actual name is not Wolf. But, ok, Wolf, is it what your family calls you? Or an online pseudonym? And.. weird fact... Many Jewish males with Wolf's first name are named Zev in Hebrew, which means.... wolf!
