Hey, there is a huge black bird in my backyard and it looks like it is chasing a bluejay! I've never seen that before and they are making a racket!

I seem to have NO PROBLEM getting all the smutty spam mail though! I changed my filter level so maybe it would not filter you out, and even that did not work. I just go delete delete for all the junk stuff!

I don't have a camera on the pooter, just the cable for my digital camera and the program is all set up on my computer. I would have to jump through a few hoops on the other one!

BTW, the bluejay seems to have prevailed. He is sitting on the roof of the playhouse! No sign of the huge blackbird!

I've been trying to undo some of the last minute things I did while cleaning.

my Mum went with her Sister my Cousin's Farm in the Country last weekend, She came home with a huge whole pumpking straight from the Garden..

OH GEE, I have never make anything from a REAL pumpkin! I find it canned, so convenient, I can buy and keep on a shelf till I am ready for it again. i do need to make some pumpkin squares or muffins again. I do not do that in summer much. One cool cloudy morning I shall have to do that. Note to self, check pantry for canned pumpkin hehehe

I've never had pumpking soup but the orange types of fruit/veggies, like sweet potatoes and cantalope, don't really appeal to me.

OH STELLA, I love cantaloupe and sweet potatoes, Give me a nice baked sweet potato and a touch of butter and that can be desert! They have to be the dark orange ones though, not the more yellow ones and soo full of vitamines!

now those I do not like canned, they get a funny tin can taste , at least to me .

Now canned pumpkin has a bit of that taste, I shold try fresh at least once to see if that is just the canning process, but in breads or muffins, with the cinnamon and spices, it is not noticable. We do not really see the good for cooking pumpkins. We see Jack-O-lantern pumpkins the big ones, at halloween, and I have been told those are not good for eating to much pulp and stringy stuff

It is quiet here. D#1 is at work and the other 3 are still asleep. I should get some work done while I'm alone. Uh oh, the blackbird is back with a couple of friends. It looks like they are guarding the yard. Yikes! Will have to go chase them away!

We have nice eating pumpkin here in Aust...

and I love Cantaloupe, Sweet potatoes...
