HI JULIE! Grungy bars can be fun sometimes. Way back when, al and I frequented this hole in the wall bar, no 2 tables or chairs matched, there were holes in the padded bar stools, but it was a fun place to visit. O'Harras, was sad when it closed. One of those ' everyone knows your name' kind of places.

Steve's great. Was like meeting up with someone you already know. Knew him straight away.

I spent quite a bit of time with the young lads. They're over here from Britain. Making their way around NZ and Aust. Just got to Melb and saw brochure about tour at tourist info place so they came along. Offered to give them a tour of the ranges I live in. Dont know if I'll hear from them again, they've prob gone running and screaming in the opposite direction of this mad Melbourne woman.

GAIL, I must tell you, this is the place AL took me on our very first Date! Told me a good band was playing there, an oldies band. got there and was HEAVY METAL, Very loudly played in a space much to small for such noise! All I cold do was nod and smile, did not know one word he said till we were back outside heheheh.

So Gail, all of your trepidations disappeared once things got rolling! Sounds like you had a blast! Are you back home yet?
