Annual doctor's appointments for the boys today. Woohoo, such excitement! It shouldn't take too long although I think they require a shot for something (meningitis?) before going to uni now. I must look up the requirements before going.

That's ok Gail. He tried to join once before but the return email your supposed to get never came. When he tried this time, he was told there was already someone with that name. So he had to sign up with his middle Initial which gave him the idea to change his user name to 'Max'.

It's probably a good idea he doesn't use his name anyway, since he is a kid. He had a ball looking for a youtube. I did veto two of the songs because the video was not appropriate.

I'm not sure how hubby feels about it. He already thinks it's crazy to talk to people online or to think of them as friends.

I haven't watched his youtube yet. Last month our internet went on a go-slow because my youngest was using all of our account on it! So as you can imagine, I get a little paranoid of it happening again. No Sudoku...aarrgghh!

What's a go-slow?

I'm trying to convince my hubby to do something similar. He reads sites where they talk really nerdy stuff and is always telling me his point of view. I keep saying don't tell me, tell them! Join in the convo, you might have fun.

Once our monthly acct is 'used' up, we still have the net but it works as slow as a wet week! That's an Aussie term, suffice to say, it's SLOW!

Like when it would take ages for the pages to load up when we were still in SA1. That's what it was like.

Hubby is on computers all day long. He has no interest in chatting with anyone anywhere. He doesn't even play any games on the computer!

Our internet is hooked up through the cable tv. It is the fastest service available at the moment. There is no limit on time, which is a good thing because half the time we're all on at once, and that's 6 computers on all different sites.

My H works with pooters, plays on pooters, sits up till all ours with his pooters! I think you can probably see why I stayed away from them for so long. I felt very similar to women whos hubby's play golf-Golf Widows. Same applies-Pooter Widow!

The rest of us have to pry our fingers off the keys. Yesterday, D#2 was supposed to be cleaning her room and every time I checked, she was on the pooter. Finally had to turn it off. She was not happy.

We used to have cable net but when we made a 'tree change', we moved to an area that doesn't have cable anything! We're lucky to have power half the time in winter. Alright, so that's a slight exaggeration but we're along way from the 'burbs.

I just saw a commercial for the movie 'Hairspray.' It looks so funny and John Travolta plays the big heavy woman.

My gosh, you could have been talking about my day yesterday! We've been at D#3 to clean her room for ages so I went in there last night and told her I'd make a deal. She turns everything off and cleans her room or I take it all away. Sounds fair to me!

I have a soft spot for John Travolta, ever since the Welcome Back Kotter series!

Yeah, John Travolta is one of my favorites. The only movie I didn't see was that really violent one, I can't think of the name.
