His a an angel and he is a little crazy. I really liked him in it and the movie.

A couple of weeks ago, we recieved an odd request in the mail. Someone who is friends of the previous owners of our house, sent a disposable camera so we could take some shots around the place as a birthday surprise for one of the daughters. Today has been the first nice day to do it!

D#3 has come good, thank you for asking. She had been at an all-night pooter thingy and, I have since found out, ate lots of chokky and chippies and drank way too much cola. Ahh kids, it's all just a learning curve, isn't it?

My wattles are in bud, I think it's going to be a bumper season...for sneezin! The garden looks great with all this rain we've had but my verandah plants look a little dry, oddly enough. It's almost been too cold to go outside just to water them. Yesterday, I had heaps of wash to hang out, so I was wearing my long coat.

I haven't worked out this photo thing yet, have set youngest a task for the hols. My hubby loves to take photos of the yard, in fact his pooter screen is a shot across the pittosporums. I will have them on my page before the end of these sch hols.

Actually, a lot of things have slipped onto the back burner ever since I discovered this place. I'm really having to restrict myself!

kids are good at that stuff. My grandkids taught me how to use power point and they're still in primary school. Can also to chat to them on MSN now its school hols

It was an unusual request but he included his ph# so I rang him, and grilled him, and he sounded legit.
Apparently this daughter, who is now a woman, was talking fondly of growing up here so he thought it would make a lovely surpise for her. I have to admit I'm an old softie and it sounded like a really sweet thing to do. Cost us nothing, he provided the return mailbag and all.

Yes I'm on msn too and my youngest was here with me yesterday and out of the blue she asked what my email was. Next thing I knew, up popped her msn! So now instead of walking from her end to here, she messages me!. Now that's shocking.

I still sometimes dream I'm in the house I grew up in. Last time I saw it, it wasn't much like I remembered. The whole suburb had changed and the house was way smaller than I thought!

Isn't that always the way. I was born in Woomera, which just celebrated it's 60th Anniversary Reunion. My sister went and could not get over how tiny it is. It used to be our whole world!

hehehehe At home I have wirelss internet. When my duaghter comes she brings her laptop, so we have her laptop, mine and the pooter all going at once and talking via MSN... and all this where we can hear each other anyway. The wonders of modern technoglogy. But I like it, especially when i'm away.

The house that we lived in has gone because as the town downsizes, they pick up the transportable houses and take them away.

I love being able to 'speak' to people across the other side of the world and it doesn't cost a cent!

I read about one house that was about to be transported when the Gippie floods came and floated it away. I think I'd better call it a night

ditto re talking to the other side of the world. I also use Skype which makes phone calls very cheap and my brother threatens to buy me a webcam for my birthday.

I saw that about the house. He had it on low-lying land waiting to install it but mother natuer had her own ideas!
