Taking a slacky; I'm on flexible hours, which usually means I just get to work too many hours, but I am getting a small number of them back tomorrow.

Cooee, I'm back!
The report on dinner- it would have been nice if I'd washed the basil I chopped into the sauce! It made the sauce gritty. It was bought basil so I stupidly assumed it was ready to use but it would appear not. Hubby loved it but I cant handle eating gritty things so, the verdict. I would try it again but I would definitely wash the basil. It is the only thing we worked out that could have caused it. Shame, but lesson learned.

You smell like ambrosia to me Brenda! I am just going to go page checking, so if you're still around, leave a message as you go past.

hi Gail, your meal sounded delicious, but how annoying that the basil was dirty. I would have done exactly the same as you and used from the package.
I have to go soon as I have to retrieve my caravan after my husband's step daughter and partner used it over the weekend
