no I work late, get in around 11 so leave around 21:30. That way I can miss the traffic

It's the only way to miss thr traffic; that way the trip (one way) is an hour, otherwise it is about 2 hours

I did about 5 hours last Sunday. Perfect day for it, very smooth air

I was stuck in traffic last week, taking mum to her dr's appointment in the city (west). the freeway was the pitts, a car had broken down on the bridge!! what should have taken 30 minutes took nearly 50 minutes.. was not impressed !!!

Hello June. Sorry if I missed you. Still catching up on easy.

My day was a bit of a plod. Been a hectic few days though of socialising. Hubby's birthday last week, we spent the day idly ambling around Knox and of course, a bite of lunch. Monday was his day off, and in a rare show of spontaneity, he took me out to buy a new fridge! And of course, the obligatory lunch.

Fridge!!! Oven, you twit!!!

I was a bit under the weather last night and went to bed early. Woke and got up about 2.30 am and did all the puzzles then. Went back and got some more sleep thank goodness. felt I was fighting off a cold. Had the flue injection earlier in the year.
Might go and do yesterday's hard as I did not get that far.

Tuesday was my sis's birthday. August is a killer! Dropped the kids off at school then...you guessed it, we went out to lunch.

And have you been doing a lot of cooking to see how well the new oven works , or are you keeping it in pristine condition so that you do not have the chore of cleaning.

How are you feeling now June? I'm sorry to hear you've not been well. I think we all go out in sympathy with each other! There's been several 'things' going through Sudokuland. I haven't got time to get sick! Still got young kids.

It arrives on Wednesday. We're having it delivered and installed! Otherwise it would be an antique before I got to use it!

Don't knock the lunches out. Great fun. For me it means an easy evening meal but you still have other family to feed in the evening!!

I think half the trouble was that I had Laura overnight and I did not get a lot of sleep. Partly hubbies fault, who came to bed when I was asleep, and put the Telly on. Then Laura stirred at 4.30 but went back to sleep till 5.30 and guess who had to get up...........not hubby.!!!!

Speaking of sicklies, D32 was home from school today, so we...went out for take-away lunch!!!
followed that up with a girlie evening out with D#1 to pre-spend her birthday money at Knox again and we had to have dinner out of course. I am sooo bloated.

That was, of course, D#2 for the sicky child, not D32.

My fingers are exhausted! They are having real trouble typing straight.
