Yes, sometimes I'd forget my head if it wasn't attached.

Don't feel bad. Last night I wrote a list of all the calls I had to make today and still I forgot one of them. I guess I'd better do it tomorrow.

Just blame the dog or cat. That's what I do.

I blame it on homeschooling.

That's even better. I blame the dog because he can't tell on me. Our previous dog could 'lie'.

Did he tell lies about you or for you?

He told lies to get what he wanted. He loved going for walks. When I would go into another room, he'd come running with that look on his face. He'd run back to hubby with that same look, then look back at where I was. If he didn't get any response, he'd repeat. I would then be asked if I said the magic word. He got his way about 98% of the time.

Clever dog. He had you trained well.

We got him from the local pound. He really loved kids and was good with them. Our one nephew was crawling across the floor, latched onto his paw and bit it. All he did was jerk his foot away.

Sounds like he was a great dog. I never cared much for dogs until I got Freckles for my oldest boy about 13 years ago. She ended up being my dog, always wanted to be with me. She died 3 yrs ago. I still miss her.

I know what you mean. Bubba's been gone 10 years and I still miss him. Well, before I get us both over our keyboards, what's for dinner? I'm trying to break a lifetime habit of calling it supper.

Just to let you know I'm lurking from time to time
but out to lunch today
It is my friend and my Christmas/Birthday lunch we have both been unable to come up with a day convenient to us both since Christmas and her birthday in April. We will exchange pressies, too.

Where is your chair Rola? You had it earlier, and I see that Rena brought her chair also heheh. Maybe I need to go furniture shopping also? Did you get your groceries put away? And would you believe I ran out of time and energy fore I got mine put away last night? Still must do the rest later today.
