vdV, chances are the commercial car wash pays a lot more in rates than you do, so may get a bigger allocation.

vdV, I think here the commercial car wash recycles water. Only the soapy wash water goes to the drain. The mildly soapy rinse water is drained to a tank and becomes the wash water for next vehicle. Did I explaine that understandably? They say it uses less than using a hose to wash and rinse at home.

One of the rules in previous restrictions at one level, about car washing was, you could wash car ONLY if you put the car on the grass to wash it, not on the drive. Multi tasking, water grass, wash car.

Yes many of the car wash places do that here too, but thay all use more than I do with a buck. I think it is just to keep them in business, a moth or so ago they could not opperate at all.

Although Australian Born, first langauge is Dutch, spoke very little English when started school.

I have both Easy and SA pages open. It gets difficult when I change Avatar for each page. Usually I have my comfy chair to sit in when I'm in here.

Counting to about 30 is my limit to knowledge of the Dutch language.

No wonder i can never find any one on CHAT any more, i think you all hang out here. Each time I get to have a look here, you've added 10 or more pages - give a girl a break, don't have time at work (where i am now) to go back and read them all, and on the dinosaur pooter at home, it would take me a week.

For the benefit of those who I ran out on earlier, & I can see you've all gone now, I'll tell what happened to my sister. She was driving home from work, in Sydney, through a not so desirable area called Redfern, when the car in front of her stopped in the street. Cars began to bank up behind & started tooting at the one in front. So she tooted as well, and the very irate passenger of the car (a young woman) threw something at her windscreen, then opened her passenger door & grabbed her handbag & took off. My sister gave chase & eventually got bag handbag, & then further on her purse & PDA. All money (lots of) gone, but credit cards still there. Her hubby was out so she phoned me shaken & in tears. Luckily she is OK!

Scary Jenni. At least she is ok ...
