Gday Cazablanka and . Couldn't get here earlier, its been a pretty hectic weekend. D#2 turned 18 on Saturday and goes for her license on Tuesday. I'll give you fair warning to stay off the roads if she gets it!

I'll leave you my traditional page warming gift, a double chocolate bearvertail pastry from Ottawa, Canada and I guess this will go over well as you appear to be a chocolate lover. I am pleased to hear your niece was saved because of an organ transplant. One of my best friends' son was saved due to the same thing, a liver as well. Welcome to the site, and cheers!

once upon a time POOH BEAR wanted to have a garden
so he planted many seeds
he thought how lovely it would be to have butterflies too
but after the garden began to grow a waskely wabbit was eating all his veggies
so he got his "I told you ta get gun"

he snuck up on him as he hid in the wabbit hole
just then a good friend Garfield stopped in and said
"between eeyore and I we can entertain that wabbit
so he'll stay clear of your veggies"as they both mumbled under there breath...
well eat the flowers
and if that doesn't work I'll sting him!
or pretend that I am Tigger and bounce in his hole
or piglet and I can pretend I am him and sneak up on him a scare him away!

Thanks for popping in! Well if you can't eat donuts or chocolate...you must at least be able to drink scotch,my SHOUT!

Major congrats for the weight loss.
As for the other thing, you are right, it totally sucked but you have to be strong. You cannot change other people or their stupid narrow mindedness but you can change you. Do not let them deter you. Prove to them that you are able to do this and handle life's hiccups, but much more importantly, prove it to yourself. You will succeed in your goal of shedding weight, whereas they will never be able to shed their ignorance.
