Lovely fine day here is Sydney. Doing lots of washing etc before we go south for the week. Been getting out all the thick winter woolies.

We leave Monday, two noghts in Canberra, two in Wagga Wagga with some friends Three nights in Melbourne. It is our grandson's 6th. birthday on the Sunday and he is having a reptile party.
May get to Gail's place on the Saturday. Will not be sure till get to Melbourne and find out if the family have anything planned for the Saturday. The other Grandparents are also coming down fron Qld.
Also taking the laptop so hopefully will be able to check in while away.

Found a cushion cover in my cupboard I had made it was tatted I didnot tat it but I embroidered it do you remember with bullion roses & green leaves & pink beads took it down to habby shop & got a cushion insert & zip the lady in the shop loved it so Ill make up cushion for D2s in laws new house Ill get vic to take photo for my page Ive mended today sewing machine & room wandered what had happened

Good morning all! Holiday weekend coming up but we're not going anywhere other than to a soccer tournament. Gas is too expensive to travel. It's time to clean out the garage anyway.

It was quite chilly last night at the parade. Luckily, it stopped raining just as the parade started so the boys didn't get too wet.

MizT, sorry to hear about your fall. That must have been very scary! I always think that might happen when I'm carrying a load of laundry into the basement or go up the ladder to the attic. I hope you are feeling better!

Suzy, hope your mum recovers from the accident. It's always hard when an animal gets in the way of a car. I don't think I've ever seen an eagle in the wild. They're not around here anymore.

Forgot to mention that I did go and see Indiana Jones! Hubby took a long lunch and met me at the theater near his office. Loved the movie! It stayed true to the original movies. Now it's playing at the drive-in just up the road, so the kids want to go. Don't know if we have time for that, but we'll see.

Brenda, hope you have a lovely time in Brussels. Are you taking the underground train across the channel?

Well, I should get something done this morning. Need to start organizing the garage. ugh!
