Ally drew it especially for me to use as an avatar, I just haven't used it for months. Thought today was a good day to bring it out again.

SUZY, I thought you and BEAN were keeping up with the date i did not empty my dishwasher hehehe.

I know yesterday I emptied ALL of it, myself, did not have to ask hubby to do the bottom rack, or remove the silverware basket for me and put on the counter. NO, I did not bend and put pressure where none is needed now, I SAT in a chair. Have returned my rolling desk chair from sewing room to kitchen and I can do lots of things I was having to get help with. Today it is sit and clean out fridge a bit. Needs it.

Cleaning lady did not return my call. her son said "Mom is not here now", and I assumed she was at work or shopping, but I did not ask. Maybe she is out of town?

MizT, I thought you were banned from housework for another 2 weeks? A chair doesn't seem to make enough difference!

Definitely try again for cleaning lady. If it's starting to bother you too much you'll do yourself some damage trying to do it when you shouldn't....

MY GOODNESS Suzy, that is a lot of paper to sort!

and you are not finished when it is sorted, just getting started, I admire you sticking to this job, I would have run screaming, no, make that whimpering, I would have no energy left for screaming.

MizT, looking in the mirror and seeing a thinner face helps a lot to keep me going! The money is really, really bad, but even so it has added up to enough money to pay for the girls trip to see my mother and accomodation in Port Macquarie...

Shhhhh, Suzy, do not tell, but he did say I could start to gradually increase activity as tolerated if I did not bend, lift or strain to put pressure on the area. Believe me, I know when I have put pressure, I get a twinge. I have figured out just what I can do. Sitting does make a difference, I do not have to bend. Bending seems to be the worse. Well, I have not tried lifting heavy anything. I have worked my way up to some light cooking and emptying dishwasher every 2 or 3 days. ( we are using a lot of disposables)

Any task is limited to 15 minutes, even if that means I have to stop fore I am finished. Then go sit a while again. I am getting there, know I will not magically be all well in 2 weeks, it is a gradual improvement. and NOPE, I will not vacuum, sweep or wash floors. My Auto shower cleaner is keeping the shower tolerable so no scrubbing tub, same for the blue water in toilet, reasonably clean there too.

BEAN, thank you for keeping up with that date for us, I really appreciate it.

You know what is bugging me the most? TRASH CAN in the kitchen, and dirty cabinet fronts. Someone has managed to spill something liquid that left a trail down the front of dishwasher, and there are other cabinet doors with evidence of cooking. They will have to wait till cleaning lady can get here. Even a chair will not help with that chore. hehehe

MizT, I sooo know what you mean, and I'm not recovering!!

I am currently throwing the 'I am not a maid' tantrum with my kids, and my argument is that I want to spend my cleaning time actually cleaning (floors, cupboards, weeding etc), not picking up everyone's junk off every available surface.

BEAN, hope the headache gets better fast! yes, that sounds familiar, but we limited our new moms to 6-8 weeks of none of the above if a C section. AND i also made sure Dad was in the room when I gave the talk. I did not know you worked OBGYN. The teaching was my favorite part of nursing, and now, there is just no time for teaching new moms anything. hand them a pamphlet, chart you gave them discharge instruction sheet, a nd send them home.

MizT, I was in hospital for 19 hours after Ebob was born. I had her at 9.30 at night and my insurance only covered one night, so kicked out in the morning. No teaching, no instructions, nothing. Actually, the nurses at that hospital were kind of nasty. I wasn't sorry to leave. The nurses at the hospital I had Alyssa at were much nicer. I had her at 5.30 in the morning so had extra time too.

Ooooh Broni, I love your deck!

Where is the table in the dining room??? It looks gigantic! If there's a table in another corner it's more than gigantic!

When you said there wasn't a white wall in the house you weren't exaggerating! I love all of the colour... lots of character.
