Hello Wedgie - to the site. Nice to see you posting comments already.

Wedgie - there's at least 3 regular members from Canberra on the Sudoku site. Most people comment on 'easy' but they possibly check out the other pages at times. I usually check out all Sudoku pages and the three jigsaw pages, mostly doing the puzzles but I like to check out the photos as well.

Hello Wedgie - yes, all is okay. They managed to get the fire out late in the day. I think it was just a precaution the authorities have to issue, but the way the wind was blowing, it could quite easily have reached them. It's an amazing job the water-bomber planes do. I watched them from my back patio.

So, how was the trip to Europe?

Just beautiful. The mountains of the Tyrol - it snowed just before Christmas but was melted by the 27th. Prague was magnificent and all the Christmas markets. Got some beautiful nutcrackers.
Trip back was horrendous - around 37 hours all up. Wife was wise to book business class coming back but still a huge effort for two oldies.

Wife and son off to China in May. I reckon I've got one overseas visit left in me - probably to Vietnam in next 24 to 30 months.

Prague is one place on my wish list. My granddaughter went there last year and absolutely loved it.
