Countryside Uintah County Utah

This ranch snuggled up next to the mountains was showing off its natural beauty in the fall as we took a country road home. The quaking aspen trees are gold with fall foliage here, but are mysteriously dying in the West. It wouldn't be autumn here without their gold leaves; I hope they can stop their demise.

Willodene, Thank you for these beautiful pictures of our country...We really do have so much to appreciate in this country and we often abuse the land in so many ways...I join you in hope that most of these beautiful sights will be preserved for future generations. Your comments really increased my enjoyment and I think you posed some interesting questions...especially regarding the lizards on the mountains.

I understand how you feel about these trees. We do have them here, and their gold colour in the Fall is always something to look forward to.
