Mags - A wiener stick is what we use to cook wieners, (also called hot dogs, or sausages) over a camp fire. you put the wiener on the end of the stick after it has been sharpened and roast if over the fire. Hope that helps. Did I push you to the next page?

Welcome, Mags!
I don't post too often, as I have so much to do, being retired since 10th June, last year!! Glad to see you have joined our party. I have lived about 60 Km South of Lyon for nearly 6 years, but was born in Lancashire, brought up in Essex and lived in the West Country for the last 22 years. If you ever come this way, do come and stay a while!

Hi, Mags! This is Judy, Queen of the Wiener Sticks, responding to your query, too. Somehow I was innocently (!!!!) thrust into this role, just because I was walking around looking for a wiener to skewer on my sharpened stick. Um-m ... you might have guessed that wiener also has an alternate meaning over here ... :)

He was impressed too! I'm going to check it out again later!

Hi Mags. I've seen St Kilda on TV! There's a program at 6pm on Wednesdays on the ABC called 'Atlantic Edge'. I'm in the kitchen cooking etc & the TV's on in the background. A couple of weeks ago I heard St Kilda mentioned so I stopped & watched it! Now I watch it each week! Slows down my dinner preparations a bit though!
