Happy Halloween!

The kids went Trick or Treating with our friends and neighbors.  Angela is in orange as Trixie the Halloween Fairy, Clare is in pink (of course) as Sophie the Sparkle Fairy, Nick is Peter Pan and Micheal is the Giraffe.  Our neighbor Professor McGonagal brought her Hermione, Ron and Harry.

Trick or Treat

How much longer do I have to wait till you get home?
I had a horrible night and totally impatient, you must hurry home to tell me how your doctor's appointment went.

You are so funny. And I like your answer. Sounds like something I would do, but you cannot tell that I am pregnant, I am just a blob. Mike would be horrified if I did that in front of him.

Oh my stars Jill, our similarities have just ended by your last comment. I am so math illiterate. During my math courses, it was suggested that I also seek some kind of counseling. Man could not stand to be around me during my math torture classes.
Oh this puts a new twist to our prego buddiness.

East Cleveland, too. Huron Rd. hospital. I wonder if it is still there after lo, these many years? We lived with my grandparents on Euclid Ave, across from Shaw High School.

Enjoy your pillow, Jill. (Well, you did say something warm.)
I had fun this morning too. The conversation this evening between Ian, Greg and I forget who else, I could have done without.
Till, our next adventure, sleep well.

Yuck! Yuck! Double Yuck! Gross!
The other day you said you lived on Tums, my aunt eats them like pez candy. I have had them before and remember the experience and the thought of putting them in my mouth was dredded. But the doctor poopooed pepcid. Last night, I sucked on my peppermint, the whole candy cane with no results. So I had hubby bring home a small bottle of Tums. I put one in my mouth, an orange one and the taste will not go away. Intial bite was not bad, got a good orange taste, it lasted less than a second.
Yuck! Yuck! Yuck!

BTW, there was a time putting things in my mouth was not a problem. I took a nutrition class a few years ago and ever since it has been really hard for me to eat.
Too bad it has not had any results around the waiste line. It did not stop me from drinking Dr Peppers, my biggest down fall. Oh and when I had an exam, especially math exams, I enhale sugar by the bagfull.
Have I mentioned Math and me do not get along? Ms Mathmatician.
Till next note.

There is only so much clean up a person can do in a day. I am still working on it.

Has it been 6 weeks since your untra sound yet?

We are lucky to have dail-up out here. When we first moved out here, I think 10 years ago, we barely got water connection and there was a big possiblity that we were going to have to have a party-line. I had no idea those still existed. I think we can get cable out here now, but who has time to watch a tv program?
So far I am lucky not to have to purchase special maturnity clothes, I was a much more huger (yes, I said huger) person a few years ago. My stretchy, expandable warm-ups are starting to fit a little snug, but in a few weeks I will not have to worry about that because we hit clothes optional weather. And I know I have shorts and moomoos that should work.

I am being pressed for time. I only have two hours to get the girl and me ready for my doctors appointment. I have only accomplished my shower.

It was so nice last week when I did not have to go to one doctor. I tried to remember if I went anywhere, but I did.

My goodness you are up and running this morning. That sucks. Are you really up and dressed?
I actually had a great doctors appointment yesterday. Cannot remembered what I weighed the last time I went in so, thankfully, I am clueless to know what I gained. Here is the "but" No insulin increase. I am doing wonderfully, "but" I need to eat. Have those people seen the scales, I am not missing any meals.
Man did not make in time to pick up the girl for my appointment. Scares the mess out me. So I had the girl out in public all afternoon by myself. We went to the grocery store and ran into an college friend, she was totally thrilled about what has happened to me in the last 3 years. Could not believe I had one darling girl and another baby on the way. It was nice to visit with her. We finished a pick-up shopping trip and by the time we got home I could not walk.

Have no idea any more how much I can posts, so here is part 2.
This is where the problems really began. I made it in the house to make, what I could of a fast dash to the restroom, Man got home as I was taking care of business, and helped unload the car. We were not home 5 minutes and one of Mike's friends pulled up with his wife. This was 4:30, they did not leave until about 7ish. I could not get in comfortable posititon, my feet are killing me and supper had not even been started. I could not even hobble at this time. Man prepared hot dogs for us. Then he went to take a shower when he got out he was nicely stung by a red wasp. I do believe we have a colony of a variety of wasp living in our attick. We have yet to talk to each other to find out what happened in our lives today or even get a fast kiss in. It sucked.

Part 3
Got Man and the girl off to bed. The girl has been sounding horse and coughing so I rubbed her chest with vapor rub and some cough syrup. I was late coming into my nightly chat room and then only stayed for a bit. Around 10 the girl started coughing really bad, so I rubbed her chest some more. I just knew as soon as I laid down all the woes of the night were going to start imediatly. Shocking, I got to sleep about 10 minutes, then Man's alarm went off. That is a horrible alarm. After that did not know a thing until around 4 when the girl started coughing really bad again. So more medicine and another rub down. We both went back to sleep, just this time I have a little wart on my back and she snored. I am groggy and fuzzy this morning and diffinately not dressed. The girl is building up but still horse.
So, how are you doing?

Hehehe, we have two--in my opinion--major problems. We have the wasp thing, in which I believe I am up to killing two wasp a day. Any variety. And then the unwanted vistor, I think it is just one, but he will not die. And for the last couple of mornings, one can hear two screeches, one from me and one from the unwanted visitor. Not a good thing when I am attempting to have at least 30 minutes of peace before the girl wakes up.

I have been spilling my guts out about the last 24 hours of my life and you say I am quiet today!!!
No, I am not in a inclined position with my feet propped up and being waited on. I am chasing my 2 year old who has deemed today "Get into Mommy's things" day. I now cannot tell the difference between my belly and ankles and who knows if there is anything in between the two.
BTW you are not much of a yakker today either.

Good grief you wear me out in all your activities. For the past year I have only had the thought of enrolling, or is enroling, the girl in Mommy's Day Out program. Then there is a church out here that has child care and I thought of letting her go there, just for socialism. But that is as far as it has gotten, a thought. I think I would like gymnastics.
I do not have to prepare dinner tonight either, we are having leftovers. At first I thought my sister was kidnapping her. Turns out she was on a mission from my mother. But Mom said, though I did not get it in writing, that the girl will be returned in the morning.

My nap was only an hour but I slept so hard and so good. I have been up 2 hours now but I still feel fuzzy brained.

Anyway, I meant to tell you I found out some news that we are going to do. Which I did not know it was going to be so soon, until Man was telling my sister. But we are putting our place up for sale within this next year. We have talked about it, because we do not want the girl in this school district, also, for any activities we have to travel to do. We do not even have a Brownie troup out here. The closes 4-H program is 25 minutes away. I really don't want to do 4-H but if it is an interest to the girl it is possible. There are no other children out here either and I believe socializing is important to growing up. Though Mom said all she needs is church going children. I am not against church goers, used to be one myself, but just because you attend church does not make you a good person. I could write a book on some church going people. That is my news, it was kind of a shocker to me. And to do within a year, means packing and unpacking with an infant, oh joy.

Has the fever reducers not worked yet? Is she sleeping?

Fevers scare me, so many things can go wrong with fevers. Guess that is something you do not want to hear. I know fever is a part of fighting infection but I believe something is really wrong if it stays around for too long.

You are doing a whole lot better than me. I had planned on cleaning a room, that now I am sure only a torch can help. I think I may have picked up three items. I did make my bed. Since it was going on noon I thought it maybe smart to eat something. I just forced a ham sandwich down my throat and now I want to return it. Have no idea what is happening lately, nothing is appealing and I am having to force food in.

Were your soaps interrupted with basketball today. One of mine was, the others are on a different channel. It is amazing how dropped addictions are so easily picked back up.

You will be happy to know--I inhaled food tonight and wanted more, even after I was stuffed and wondering how I was going to make it out the door.
Man took us out to eat tonight with MIL, SIL and her mother. Nothing looked appealing on the menu so I got the usual enchiladas(?). I ate that, chips, two types of dip, some of the girls fries and wanted more. So I got a twinkie at MILs, actually grabbed two but so far only ate one. It is now 12:30 and I want more, though Tums are being consumed for some reason.

I think I have made a mistake, well several of them, but one right now. Since the girl is not at home, I am letting Busy (a cat) stay inside tonight to help with the unwanted guest population. She has been in for possible two hours and the entire time she has given me the third degree. One, has been about not feeding them today. We they have a smorgasborge(?) and she wants me to give her store bought food!
Another mistake was driving. I wore flip flops because it is the only shoes besides my slippers that I can wear. Words of wisdom, do not take them off once you have them on, they do not go back on. I kicked them off while I was driving, which for the most part I used cruise control. I have never been much of a cruis control person, but now wish I could use it when driving through towns. My feet are so huge right now, they are really going to hate me tomorrow, even tonight.

It is amazing what a two hour nap can do. It was wonderful. I would problaby still be snoozing, but both arms went numb. The first time around, it was explained the baby is on a nerve. This time I am told it is whatever side the baby is position. I move the darling child, both nothing seems to work.
Get Jack to take the children on a natural walk so you can relax and join me in here. I really do not see my plans working today. May find a few DVDs and keep the couch comfy.

So you do not go into shock.
Since my not so good night, moving is not on my agenda today, but I felt a little guilty for not doing anything. So I spent some time cleaning my room.
Now my tush is informing me that it is spreading, going flat and has no feeling in it. So I am going to move for a minute or two.

Jill, I believe the bird at the top of my page is a Sharp Shinned Hawk, more from the small size than anything else. The hawk pictured in my gallery is an immature Coopers, I think, again because of the larger size. I, too, get tired of the Starlings.

Hope you are still around. I did attempt to lay down again. About 20 minutes later I started getting that tingling feeling in my feet which is a warning pain is going to arrive soon. Then I realized I have not had anything to eat since last night and since it is going on 2 PM, I thought I better go on the hunt for something.

My dear, dear hubby, who I "did" love with all my heart, is going to die a slow painful death, soon.
He has screwed up at least 3 times today. First, he started his death process when he said he needed my help fixing the front porch. That really does not sound bad, I was more than happy to help him. Until he opened his mouth again, he said, I need you to stand on one end, since you have advanced greatly to hold up one end while he slips the beam under the other end. Number 2, came mid morning, in my hubby's demise. I was doing the dishes, which I will admit, I have not touched since Thursday night. There was not that many and I have a feet problem and last night we went out. My dear, hubby had the nerve to say, if I did the dishes on a daily basis, they would not stack up so much. To the last nail in his coffin, I deem to splurge to even get him one, he went to the store and actually paid money for store name brand, hamburger helper!!! About the only boxed food we have in the house is pancake mix and cereal, everything else is prepared. NO boxes or powders for my family. Yes, I have purchased hamburger helpers before, about 15 years ago. We are working on 20 years, but I really doubt seriously we will make it.

On a better note, I am getting pretty feet, they hurt and I have cut off air to my lungs at least 10 times, but my feet are getting a treatment this evening. Maybe the last time unless I have it done, which I do not care to do that, that my feet get a pampering. Hopefully, I will have happy feet when I go to bed tonight and they will not bother me. Which again, no problems at nap time. That is so weird.

Since I am on a role of ragging on the man, might as well keep going. He was, notice that word, going to prepare dinner tonight. He is still doing some kind of meat on the grill, but he was going to do baked potatoes in the microwave and a lettuce tomato salad. Hello! have you tasted microwave potatoes, they are tasteless and dry. I really believe the microwave is the most useless appliance in that room. Does come in handy to reheat items. And how bland is just a mere lettuce and tomato salad, when we have onions, carrots, cheese, you know all the good stuff.
BTW, the microwave we have should have been replaced a million years ago. He had it before his first marriage and we are working on 20 years this year, maybe. So it really should have been replaced a long, long time ago. Cannot believe we are working on #20 this year, he is still kicking.

I have a theory to my night time woes. After a rough beginning last night, my brain exploded with an idea. How do I sleep differently at nap time than at bed time? Well, I will tell you. At nap time I sleep across the bed with a light sheet, at night time I sleep horizontally with a sheet and a light comforter. Light Bulb went off. I could not sleep across the bed because there was a snoring lump there, that would not move, but my nap time sheet was at the end of the bed. I froze and there a slight difference but I did sleep more. I do not have a problem when hubby does not have to go to work the next day of waking him at 3 in the morning to rub my back, but apparently he does. I do not believe this is the right attitude for Man to have and informed him of this. His solution was to snuggle up to me. Not what I wanted or needed, since on the other side of me is Busy, who I let stay in again to get some work done, then Man is on the other side with poking elbows and knees. Need I mention early morning breath, inwhich, contained beer and BBQ smell. Now when I am a normal person I cannot stand these smells, in my condition it is so much worse.
The good news is, I was able to sleep some last night and this morning I have legs, ankles and toes. I am so scared to move to ruin this.

Well, my blanket theory is being challenged. It is 70 degrees outside and I am freezing still. I bet if I was not wearing shorts I would not be so cold but they are so comfy and fit. It is 3:30 and I still have feet. My calves and feet feel really bruised, I have not figured that out.
Anyway, I took an early nap since my girl was coming home. Which she got home around 2 and all I got was a hug and see ya later Mommy. Cannot believe fishing is more important than Mommy.
Oh back to subject. I used a heavier comforter at nap time and had no problems with my feet. But then again, I was laying across the bed. Guess I just have to wait 14 more weeks to...hehehe my next statement is funny...to be able to sleep with out interruption. Hahaha, wasn't that the funniest statement you ever heard?"

This is from the baby site I go to, to see what is happening.
"You may be feeling like a "Soccer Mom" now that your uterus is the size of a soccer ball. Your growing uterus places pressure on your back and pelvis and may cause periodic shooting pains in your lower back and legs. When you experience this, rest, change your position, take a warm bath or apply ice to the sore area."
Hello!!! I think they are a little behind the times. I would say I am more the basketball size now or even bigger. Sore areas! I would have to take ice baths and still would not cover everything. An ice bath does not sound appealing either.
I could follow this site with Kendall and went prefectly, this time around I think the site has lost its mind.

I am surrounded by sickly people and I have lost my mind. Girl's night time cough has become daytime cough with runny nose, Man called and it really sounds like I need to just shoot him and put him out of his misery. And now you are telling me you are French kissing the toilet. Grief, I need to go back to bed.
Hope you are feeling better, now that you had your love affair with the toilet.

The sick child asked for the headache medicine this morning. With that high of a fever I gave it to her. Now she is feeling well and making demands, food, juice, etc. In all of your research, have you come across an explanation for the extreme magnetic attraction of my pillow? It keeps drawing me in then I get stuck there and find it very difficult to leave.

Now, that you had an affair with the porcelin goddess, and the pending MIL and Auntie thing, I am worried about your appointment. Which does not settle well, with the dream I had last night. It was not a nightmare, just the unknown stuff.

Oh Jill, I have truely lost my mind and have forgotten what the question was. Could not save the cat, but had to save the bottle of bath gel, the second one in two weeks from a girl who thought it was lotion and to apply liberally. So I have thrown her in the tub and have at least 15 minutes to form a thought.
I woke up with feet this morning, but they disappeared a few hours ago. Going on 11 and I can barely walk.
I seem to recall a pillow question. It has been so long since I have seen mine, it is probably very lonely or they are lonely. Generally, if I am not doing anything all is well with the world. It is when I am doing something that the girl is doing something also. Most of the time doing something she should not be doing. OK--5 minutes of silence, must see what she is into.

Latest incident.
After a cleansing bath and tangle patrol, the girl went off to play. Or so I thought. As a responsible parent I have all creams, lotion and medicines put up high. Now I know I must also do it with my bath stuff.
Anyway, my highly intelligent girl do not let little things like height or childproof cabinets get in her way. I hear from a slight distance," I did it Mommy, I put Happy Hiney on my butt." Noticing the Happy Hiney is on my desk, I set out to investigate. My clean darling girl some how managed to get the vicks vapor rub of the chester drawers. She has rubbed it on her butt and girlie parts and now has a wonderful sensation. Merely wiping the stuff off does not help and the girl is now screaming her girlie parts hurt.
Daddy called and said he should be home in an hour. He better make it less than an hour. I do not think I will make it.
