Happy Halloween!

The kids went Trick or Treating with our friends and neighbors.  Angela is in orange as Trixie the Halloween Fairy, Clare is in pink (of course) as Sophie the Sparkle Fairy, Nick is Peter Pan and Micheal is the Giraffe.  Our neighbor Professor McGonagal brought her Hermione, Ron and Harry.

I wish I could say, Daddy's coming home improved things. I really, really wish I could. Of course, he came home at nap time. So I let the girl stay up and play. Have I mentioned the man is sick. Oh what a wonderful day. Nap time was almost non-exentant. But I needed it really bad and of course so did Man. The girl needed it to but refused to admit it. So after many head buttings, the last drawal was when she took a chunk out of Daddy's arm with her teeth. Daddy went to the couch, which killed the girl, who sadly cried herself to sleep. After she went to sleep the other one decided it was time to kick the mess out of Mommy as hard as possible, for over an hour. Needless to say, naptime was not restful.

Sounds like your day has improved tremendously. Great news on your doctor's appointment. Personally, I am learning that when I have the with me, the visits go much more faster. Oh, afternoon appointments also seem to go faster.
As horrible parents, we had to wake the girl up. I do not believe in waking the children, but she is going to grandma's and it is 5.
Don't worry about the mess. One inquiring minds are waiting for us to slip up. I bet Plum analyzes them. And two, I am so getting used to cleaning a room and then watching it turn into a disaster area, hence you cannot walk through my living room any longer, and the in training girl has used both restrooms at least once and that disgusting potty chair.

OOOHhhhhh! I thought you were skipping ahead some weeks on me.
I am so ready now. Even after yesterday. I maybe singing a different toon in 15 weeks.

In the process of preparing for public appearance. I really do not want to go talk about food and my eating habits, but gotta do it. Hopefully it will be fast and I can go get the girl who is so upset with me for leaving her at grandma's. Three tearful phone calls between 8 and 10 last night. I was ready to go get her, but Mom called about 10:15 and said she finally fell asleep. That did not help me any.

Sorry, I did not say good bye this morning. I think I was just in shock that I was able to walk out the door in a timely fashion, without having to make a mad dash and fumbling with a car seat. You would think after 2 years I would have that down by now.
Had a really good doctors visit with the nutritionist and dietician. They explained my lack of appeal with food and said it was normal and did not think too much about it. Still need to add more carbs to my diet though, which sounds so strange.
Best news of all, I have missed placed 5 pounds, they were not on those horrible scales today. Isn't that great. And no lecture. My feet were not swollen when I went in so I bet that was the most part.

Darn shucks, if I had known you were waiting I would have responded quickly, but since you said you stopped by the library, I didn't.
I had planned on going and looking at baby beds, since I had an early appointment. But guilt had me doing a fast run through the grocery store and to the pharmacy then off to fetch my girl.
Before children I had a motto, "Do Not Feed the Children," I worked at a school and begged to move their lunch to 3 then send them home afterwards, but no one listened to me. It seems they become possessed or invaded by aliens after you feed them. Well, since the girl it is kind of like I have to feed her. So in my guilt I took her to Sonic for a Whacky Pack (equilivalent to McDondald's Happy Meal, if you don't have Sonic), and fed it to her. An hour later I was threatening to send her back to Grandmas.
Needless to say, I do not have any ankles again and still have dinner to prepare. oh joy.
Hope you had fun this evening.

I really do like your avator. I thought I liked it before, but colored makes it really stand out.

Did not get company in bed until around 4:30 this morning. I think she had been yelling for me for a while by the time I woke up. She had that scared, abandoned sound in her voice.

3 days of fever. Has it gone down any? Is she getting plenty of liquids? Gosh, Jill, this is a situation I have no experience. Use your judgement or like you said, if you can let go of your pillow.

RED ENVELOPE DAY - send an empty red envelope to President Obama to help protect the unborn children. Two Days after this man was elected, thousands of people peacefully marched through the streets of DC in the March for Life to support the unborn children and protest abortion. The very next day, President Obama signed legislation that lifted the funding ban to abortion clinics. Please join me in continuing to remind our President that these innocent little children must be protected. Go to www(dot)redenvelopeproject(dot)org for more information.

Yes, you never know where I will show up.
But I now have a double crap. All the shopping I did this morning I showed to Man, when I went back to my cart, it was empty. I now have to go shopping again. Have I mentioned how I dislike shopping?

I also, had a breeze go through my ears which brought back a memory of lasts weeks visit to the dietician and nutritionist. I had told them about how I am having to force myself to eat anything and nothing sounds appealing. Well, they told me that some women experience a second bout of morning sickness in their 7th month. Wasn't the first go around bad enough? Granted, unlike you I did not get all personal with my toilet bowl.

The girl and I are having a battle of the wills. After, or I should say while I was rolling up the first tube of toilet paper, she announces she has to go potty. Well, go, have fun, enjoy yourself, hope everything comes out OK. I should know my daughter better than that. A new roll is now decorating our bedroom.
The winds are building up, they started around 11ish and already, at 12, there have been several reports of fires out of control.
Is it nap time yet!?

OK, twice now I have prepared my medicine and actually taken it once, in hopes to have food. I have ventured into that room twice, in search of food. All this since, 7 AM, it is now after 12 and I have yet put food into my mouth. I do recall having one cup of coffee, but I am really not sure if that is a yesterday memory or not. Mike said he would be home this morning, it is no longer morning and no Daddy in site. Someone needs to save this girl, seriously. Lack of food is not making Mommy a good person to be around. Now the other one is protesting, strongly. I am going for a third attempt. Wish me luck.

Food and eating it has been accomplished. Sugar level, blood pressure and now getting on a even level. I thought it may not happen again, since just as I sat down the girl decided to dump her plate, which really upset her. She is eating a lot today, two small boxes of cereal, half of tuna sandwich with hers and some of mine cheetoes, strawberries and whole bunch of grapes. Oh, and tic tacs, she is finally showing signs of slowing down. Thought for a bit there I was going to have to become an abusive parent. Talked to Man before we ate and he said he would be home in 20 minutes. I really need to get that man a watch so he can tell time.
Hard to believe that when we first met both of us were watch wearers and clock watchers. Now we are lucky to have one clock in the house set at the right time. Cannot blame it on parenthood either.

Hey Jill, my overall opinion is that it is a great experience if you like racing. We camped just ouside the track and so when we pulled in to set up we could hear the time trials going on, it was a rush to hear the motors! our group was split on driver favorites, we like Jeff Gordon and the other like Jr. One of the reasons we went there was because Jr. was driving the Fastenal car in the Nationwide race on Sat. and 2 of the people work for Fastenal here in Winona, and this is where Fastenal started all those years ago.

In answer to your question about the outcome of the race a great big YES! I also won $50! Race fans are friendly and know how to party! Have a great day and since Jeff, Jimmy and Dale all race for the same team we care all one big happy family are we not?

The colored eggs look so pretty with all that white.
If history continues, we will either get rain the day before or the morning of, so Easter hunts are planned for outside, but back up plan for inside.

Jill, no doubt my feeders are completely empty by now, so my hawk might very well moved over to your house ... as well as all my other hungry birds. I really hadn't thought of my feeders until your comment. It is amazing how quickly they return after I get back home from a trip and refill them again. This will be the longest I've been gone, and I do wonder if they will have completely given up on me.

Jill - Your daughter is very beautiful! Please tell her congratulations on a job well done! My girls were both in dance as well as two of my boys. My second son, Jeremiah, took tap lessons for over 5 years. He was the only boy for a couple of years in the lower grades. Recital time was always very exciting.

She looks so sweet Jill. Has she been dancing for a long while? My friends daughter has just got her 'points'. It was fascinating learning how they fit them to the foot. I had no idea so much went into making them. Take care x
