JK Rowling has said that after divorcing her first husband, and before her literary success, she was very depressed and even thought about suicide. It was worrying about her daughter that made her get help - I knew there was a reason we have kids!!

Just watched HP and the Half Blood Prince. Very loyal to the book.

Fun read, this forum. I've followed the HP series since the beginning, but never came to this forum until now. I haven't reread any of the books, but have listened to a couple on tape after reading them. Agreed the guy that reads them is quite good. I've enjoyed the movies and don't find myself being critical of them. They add another dimension, or give it another slant. Yes, she tied everything up very nicely at the end.

Well, that's it then. The last HP, The Deathly Hallows Pt2 has been released, there is no more...or is there? JK has been very cagey about it saying it's hers, and if she decides to do more, she may!
I loved the last movie, though hubby and daughter thought the ending was a bit naff, but it is similar to how she wrote it. Hubby says she wrote it naff!

There are a few other smaller books out there by JK Rowling. The Tales Of Beedle The Bard, Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them, and Quidditch Through The Ages. All very enjoyable.

Do you really think she will bring out another Potter book? Seems pointless with the death of Dumbledore.

Beehive - She has said that's she's got another 3 or so HP books in her mind. She hasn't decided whether to write them yet. She doesn't need the money, does she?
