everybody. I finally fessed up to hubby and told him that I come on first thing in the morning the second he leaves for work so this morning I just turned on before he left!!!

Stella, be very interested to hear son's opinion on the cortisone jection.

Ruby, I did not think you were Topper. I was just kidding.
S#1 had to go straight to work but I will ask him when he gets home. I had a cortisone shot once for my hip and it didn't help my hip and made the rest of my leg feel worse. But we'll see.

The cotisone jections are a relatively new thing here. They have been using it for sportspeople for years and racehorses for even longer. It's hailed as the cure for chronic pain but GPs and physios are very reluctant to dole it out willy-nilly which is good. But I do believe it can cause incredible relief when it does work.

Gail, you already heard this question on easy this morning (last night) but I'll repeat it here. Has anyone ever heard of the expression, 'Owe me a coke, no backs' when two people say the same thing at the exact same time? We talked about it at the baby shower because my sisters and I said it a few times and my brother's girlfriend said that they always said, 'Owe me a beer.' Since we've said it since we were little kids, I can't see saying 'beer' but Sarah Beth/Colorado said that is what she said as well. Just wondering.

No Stella, I don't know either of those expressions. My daughters always link the little fingers, make a wish and say jinx! Apparantly the first one to speak breaks the 'spell' and doesn't get their wish!!!

Stella, I've never heard of them either. I was waiting til my kids wake up to ask them what they say, as I know they have a phrase but I can't remember it. Nothing about coke or beer though

When 2 speak same time here in my family, one will say Jinx, and start counting. the other person must say STOP and the number that you reached is how many 'gifts' they must present to you! Or the boy's variation, that is how many times the winner can thump thier upper arm OUCH

Who's gloating? My darling hubby suggested that I spring clean the bedroom on my week off. This from a man whose weeks off mean diving, cycling, fishing. Nearly served up hubby on toast for dinner!

I don't know MizT. He just looked really comfortable in the photo! He has what I term a 'ruddy' complexion, sorta means tanned.

Oh you told him right, Mary! I admire your restraint, not sure I could have been as calm about it.

When my hubby takes a week off, his plan is to just lie around the house 24/7. He can't understand it when I tell him I don't particularly think of it as a holiday if I'm stuck in my place of employment! You know what it's like, if you're here, there's always something to do.
How would he like it if I planned for us to take a weeks holiday in his office.

He is tanned, that was after 3 days in the sun, and he tans that redish tan color. He is a little bit Native American, I think 1/8. He seems to tan with just exposure to the air! His daughter tans easily also, but she can burn, he has never sunburned. Me, I am just a pale face ( Native American name for people of white/european ancestry)

GAIL, may I borrow your line? not a vacation if I have to take it in my place of employment heheheh

I have an olive complexion,sort of mediterranean skin. When we were younger, we were always in the sun. I had white blonde hair and BROWN skin!
Cannot handle the sun anymore though so I am pale now.
