Yes, finished dinner by 6pm. D#1 is safely ensconced in her friend's home on the Cape.

Stella, I'm glad D#1 arrived safely! Aren't you glad you sent her in a car with GPS? The last time we were in FL for a long weekend, the car we rented had a navigation system. We were SO glad it did, and it helped the other 3 cars in the group stay on track.

Sorry, Rola, I was typing. I'd be glad to join you in a cuppa (green, if available), and only a very skinny slice of the lemon loaf. Thanks!

#1 son is happy with the arrangement for the 21st....
lots of friends, beer and family to help him celebrate the big event...
and maybe a cousin (my cousin's son) from Sydney might come over as well

Our daughters weren't home when they turned 21, so celebrated with friends. Are all birthdays cause for celebration - or just 'landmark' birthdays?
