I'm using Firefox and its zapping better than IE or Netscape. But I am on cable broadband, too.

DINO, we have a telephone line DSL connection here. It became available just this past few months!

Dino, when is your surgery scheduled? I do hope that goes well for you.

At home I have DSL, too and mostly it works well. Tonight I am in Sydney with a pretty pale blue cable attached to my laptop. I would hate to have to go back to dial-up. I remember what a pleasure it was when we finally got hooked up.

Surgery is scheduled for 3rd August. I'm counting down the days.

Before DSL and after dial up, we had a satelite connection. At first, it worked well most of the time. Heavy rain clouds on the sourhern horizon ( where we aimed to find satelite) would disrupt the signal.

Ahhh, a week from Friday! that is close.
