My son will have to use satellite. He moves into his new home on the same day I go to hospital. We like doing things chaotically in our family. You can see a pic of the house being built on my flikr page. He's built it with his father-in-law.

I wish you a speedy recovery , in case we do not meet up again fore then.

and there is a certain satisfaction of building your own home! My BIL and nephew build my nephew's home togther! BIL said it was the best thing they could have done! Son became much more responaible and 'grew up' during the building of it!

I agree. My son has a sharp mind, but he loves working with his hands too. His dad-in-law is an old fashioned do-the-job-properly builder. So J has learned a lot.

Rammed earth building? I need to research that, interesting

Do put up more photos of that house if you have them, I wold really be interested in seeing the process.

Well, I must get hubby some breakfast, he will be out to the shop soon , it is a work day.

it's like mud brick. They put up a frame and ram the earth down the frame. They mix it up like sticky mud pies. The frames can be designed to different shapes which is how they got the curve on the top wall.

DINNER, I forgot, I have nothing to make for dinner, again!
AAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHH, I have lots of food, but it is not thawed!

Ok, sliced ham will thaw quickly, I have some brown rice in freezer, already cooked.... possibilities

found a couple green peppers (capsasium?) have onion, pineapple, mushrooms, some soy . . . I think a stir fry is comming together
