I was going to watch a bit of TV, but they have a special on, about a sentensing of a corruption case. Ok, You told me how long they being sent away for, that is enough, no need to take the next 2 hours to second guess the whole process

BEsides the nothing good to watch, I am making a apple crisp, and trying to get hubbies clothes ready to go out of town.

I know what you mean about dragging out specials! I haven't even turned on the TV tonight. Since hubby is off working on a project, that means it remains off until he gets home.

Smilie is one of those that was antimated, and I tried to stop the motion and capture it, and it worked heheheh.

Yummy on the apple crisp. I really don't need a taste (though I'm tempted), but please turn a fan on it to cool and face it northwest of you.

When we lived where we came in front door, instead of the back like we do now, i promise you, he could come in with both arms full of groceries, and manage to turn TV on as he walked through the living room!!

He doesn't turn on the TV as soon as he walks in - and will probably go to the computer to check his e-mail. But then he will probably turn on the TV.

It is smelling lovely in here and this one is low sugar and low fat, still has calories, but lots less. some good for you fruits, and whole grains for the crisp, so it is not empty calories

The TV is probably furthest thing on first floor from door into house from the garage.

Al would turn on the TV and then leave the room to check e-mail

He has been known to come in and turn channels even when I am in the middle of watching something. THEN leave the room

MizT - ditto on coming in and changing channels in the midst of a program I'm watching. I got so I just gave up and came upstairs to the computer. Then he wondered why I was spending so much time on the pooter.

Ahh, this may be a late night snack, too hot and bubbly to eat for some while yet

well, we have dueling wars with the remote. I have mine, and he has his. I have started changing it back, with a huffy EXCUSE ME. after one time, he gets the message now

but first time, I promise he did not know what the problem was, for real. NEVER occured to him I might be watching, even though I was sitting in the rom with it and facing towards it heheheh

Occasionally I said something, but not much of a desired reaction. Rather than sit and get angrier, I just decided to walk away. I am generally non-confrontational.

i deecided he wold never know if I did not tell him, and I was right. but if it was something not that great or what he changed it to was a program I liked, I would still let him know I was watching something and it wuld be nice to ask before changing it

It has taken geltle little baby steps, to get him to pay attention but was worth it to me.

My husband is an only child and doesn't always 'get it' when I let him know I was watching a program, etc. Maybe it's not just being an only child - also not great on communication. But, then, his parents didn't seem to be, either.

Sometimes hubby really tries to do things differently, but the easily returns to the 'old ways' of doing things.
