Night Stella. A friend who is a weight lifter, recommends bananas. She eats one before she goes to the gym. Says that it helps with muscle spasms.

Becky, we had some rain and wind yesterday afternoon, but not nearly as bad as parts of Chicago. Today was just mostly overcast. But at least the storm going through yesterday cooled things off for today. I heard the 90's are coming back for the weekend, but I'm not sure about tomorrow.

This weekend is supposed to be cooler here. So glad we didn't get the rain that TX got. On the news tonight they said TX got 18 inches overnight alone.

Rats! I just now thought of what Glenn, Winter Springs, FL asked people to do this fall when his daughter Robyn started college. He asked people to send postcards to her. Maybe we could all get Stella's e-mail address so she could give us her daughter's school address. She could have a bunch of 'aunties' sending her an occasional postcard.

Good idea, Julie. I don't have her e-mail address, but I think MizT might.

Sorry, I just momentarily disappeared. I went to Stella's page to post that idea for her because I don't know if she goes back and reads all the comments. I have MizT's e-mail address, and she has mine. There's also Ed, Lithia, FL who is the unofficial Sudoku 'postmaster.' I think he has a business and kindly passes on addresses when a person gives him permission. That's how MizT and I did it.

Becky, I usually try to get here in my (and your) evening - usually by 9:30-10 Central time.

That was faster than my idea. Was going to troll the site tomorrow morning for Stella. Duh.
Is Ed a member?

Yes, Ed has been a member for a long time. He posted for a while, was gone for a while, came back for a while, and now seems to only post rarely. I think he still comes to play and read comments. He also e-mails some people, I think.

Thought I recognized the name. But, there are so many on here anymore, I have trouble keeping everyone straight sometimes.

I know what you mean, Becky! For a while, especially during the competition, if I saw a new name attached to a comment, I would try to visit the person's page & welcome them. But I heard there are now more than 500 members - quite a few of them Supporting. I have given up on trying to greet everyone. But I think Mamacita is trying to.

I didn't do the competition. Sat back and watched and read for about a year before I came out of the woodwork.

Got to admit I've been lax in visiting people's pages. Thought when things quiet down at home, I'd start doing that.

The same with me. I finally made a comment, then didn't for a couple of weeks. Then tried another comment. I guess the competition was what really got me going. I feel as if there are some real friends here who care about each other. And Becky, we are certainly glad you are out of the woodwork now! Your input is great!

About the remote? I wouldn't worry about it. I didn't take it as entertainment or complaining. Some people like to stir the pot.

I do like your feathers today, sort of ruffled looking! After being with the same man for a hundred or so years, all any of our hubbies do, when we talk about them like that, is roll their eyes.
