With a whole lot of valium and a bottle or two of bubbly, maybe, just maybe, I might be persuaded to get into a plane smaller than my car!
The passenger is allowed to drink, aren't I, vdV? You wont, of course, not until we get there...will you?

So, can we go through the pre-flight? Emergency exits are located here, here, and here. Oxygen masks located above, parachutes located under your seat!

Gail, though I might catch you here. I'm glad my MCC (Memory Challenged Club) now has 2 members. Which makes it even more exclusive than the better known MCC (for non-Aussies, non-cricketers, the Melbourne Cricket Club) My club has free membership amnd tyops are allowed in comments.

Got your email and just sent a reply. But if you have flown the coop with vdV, what can I do?

Good morning all! Cloudy and warm. Looks like rain. I made a spur of the moment decision to go down and see Brendan's team play on Long Island (4 hour trip) since my mom keeps asking when I will visit. Keep positive toughts sent this way in hopes that Brendan will get into the game and the rain holds off.

Rolanda, have a wonderful and relaxing vacation! Take lots of pics and read some good books! Make sure you tell us all about it so we can have a vacation through you! Have fun!!! We'll miss you!

Hi Stella. A blustery cool change has just swept through here, so it will be a cold night. Is it a four hour trip one way to Long Island, or four hours for round trip? I'll try to dream Brendan into the game.

Rolanda: happy holidays!

It is chilly, isn't it. I left a message, if I got the right number, will try again in the morning. BTW I had a giggle about your dilemma about the Hazard Perception test! Will explain it all when I see you.

Do you mean the confusing one! Boy, I had to get out the slide-rule and protractor to work it out! I think I did, but as 2nd member of the MCC, I can't really recall.

I think the biggest hazards of the lot are our politicians in our pseudo-election campaign.

Well now you have proved your membership of MCC. But why slide rule and protractor? Surely you have an upmarket scientific calculator to 20 decimal places?

Don't get me started on politicians! This is the Claytons election so far- The electioneering you're having when you're not having an election!

Howard has to wait till he has been to both the footy finals before he can call the election. You see he knows what priorities Aussies have

I,ve only just mastered the keyboard, don't wish more technology on me! I don't know that a calculator would help with working out when you will be out!

Stupid posturing politicians. I have a distinct dislike and distrust of all of them.

Changing the desktop is easier than working a calculator, especially when one is not only a member of MCC, but digitally challenged on tiny keyboards.
