All for your continued love and support, not only for the return to Sully's health, but for me to maintain my health. Your expressed concerns and encouragement has meant so much to both of us. As you chat away, I wish I had the time to join and enjoy, but alas, I am being spelled from taking care of Sully to be able to keep a prior commitment to train some driving instructors for AARP...just a half day and back to watching over my sweetie...see you all around when things slow down a bit. I am taking care of myself as well as Sully. Thanks for all of the prayers...they have really helped. Peace!

OH BECKY, how terribly frightening! Car crashes are the pits! I have been hit before and not fun. I hope the car is soon repaired or replaced, that the other driver had insurance,and that all goes well. Hopefully they will give you a rental so you will not be without transportation!

MAMA, I know about caring for a hubby after surgery. I find mine is not a good patient, too impatient to do things himself, and when he cannot, he is ill tempered. AND he cannot think of both things he needs at one time, nope, I had to make 2 trips to the kitchen, or wherever. BUT I am living proof, we can survive it, and they do remember that we cared for them reasonably well When you really would like to pinch his head off, remember you are not the first wife to have that impulse.

today was a bit achey, but I survived. I guess the cold front and old bones today, although it was not COLD, just a change in weather.

Noone was in the car with you for your accident?

I'm ok. I was going between 35-40 mph. None of the airbags went off, so it couldn't have been too bad of a "bump."

No, was by myself. Thankful for that. She basically side-swiped me. The road has 2 lanes in each direction. I was in the far left lane and she turned right at a red light. She said that she wanted in that lane to go to a Kroger.

GAIL, we need to plan that aprty, you know. Jeb has left it up to us, but he might join in later.

WELL< SHEESH, that lane was occupied!!

She asked me where I came from. Almost gave a smart answer, but instead told her I had been in that lane for over a mile.

and don't be like I was, my first accident ever, and the next day, a SECOND ONE, I was hit again! First time from behind, second time side swiped into my drivers side door! caught me with her back bumper. THAT is not easy to do!

Ever since I got that car, told hubby the other drivers were gunning for me. This past month I almost got hit twice, guess the third time was the charm.

GAIL, Jeb said he did not know her, so maybe we should start the party and he would come in later. He has already checked out to see we have not started it hehehe.

I hate to be a party pooper. I actually got here when 3 other people are here, but I need to go to bed - up by 5 am tomorrow to help with a 5K race.

I've heard school-bus-yellow is a good color for a car if you want to be sure other drivers see you.

It's a metallic marroon Bonneville (not a small car) and has running lights. I told her that when she looked, I might have been in her blind spot. Felt kind of sorry for her. She thought the cops were going to yank her license.

She said she didn't and the lady cop told her she would be ok. Just a citation in the mail. At first she just wanted to exchange info. I told her I was going into a bank that the accident happened in front of and phone the police. Before I left I got her plate number. While in there a teller told me she saw the accident. Either way, I figured I was covered and would not be blamed.

I went looking for Jeb's comment. Where is it?
