Umm BTW.. when was the last itme SA Room was cleaned.. me thinks it was a Long Long Long Time ago.

here goes..

Stack the chairs,
wipe the tables, sweep the floors and move a few of those Dust Bunnies,
clean the cups.. put fresh flowers in the vase..

ahhh much better...

good thing I cleanup found my chair again..

now for a nice cup of tea.

Thank you Rolanda. It was getting difficult to get in the door. Old newspapers all over the place and the dirty coffee mugs!
I have brought some fresh milk to put in the fridge anfd a bottle of bubbly for later.
I have also brought some of last night's dinner for everyone to try. The receep is on the recipe page.

Had a 'great' day today: this morning driving to work a truck through up a roofing screw, went straight into my radiator.

Didn't know at the time of course, a little later, my car is not running so well, cloud of 'smoke' out the back, dam, nearly at work, maybe if I take it easy I can limp in.

Then to add insult to injury, a cop comes up behind me and pulls me over.

He has a look over the car, you know tiers, rego... all OK, no roadworthy problems.

Open up the bonet, green stuff everywhere, obviously coolant, look at the radiator, there is the "@#$%^%^" screw

So the cop believes me, yes that must have just happened. He gives me an EPA infringement notice for all the 'smoke' coming out the back.

Walked the 20m to work, yes I was that close, got a couple of mates and we pushed it in.

Took the radiator out, down to the local radiator repairer, $400 later, get a new on in the arvo and put it back in.

Hope no other damage to the car!

gee that sounds bad Cous !!

Now I have to take my car into the RTA to prove it is not blowing smoke out the back to get the EPA infringement removed, else my rego will be canceled.

All cos some !@#$##$ dropped a screw on the road, didn't cost them much, but cost me heaps and lots of hassle that is not over yet!!!!

OH vdV, what a pain in the ...! Did you by any chance get the rego of the truck? Were you on the freeway when it happened, get in contact with Citylink, maybe they have it on tape.

Hopefully I havn't cooked the engine, else I may have to put the reciepe in to the Sudoku cook book

No Gail, didn't think much of it till the cloud of steam out the back, by then too late.

No point giving that up Gail it's the only thing that keeps me sane.
