I can imagine, it's quite a feat, Rola, & I guess it would be quite hard to do (nearly impossible under most circumstances). She will be disappointed when she awakes - but then again I guess she will be happy to see us using this page.

Just about finished work for today, so will be leaving soon - have to go visit my Mum in hospital, she just had a shoulder op today. Did check out the link you gave me Anni - looks like it would have been a good concert to see, although I don't know alot about that style of music.

Sorry to break MizTricia's run! 1st on 7 consecutive pages is pretty good. Don't suppose anyone will challenge that for a while.

OH, thanks about the new Avatar. It is a passion flower, a rather exotic looking plant that has come into fashion of late. It is a vine, has a fruit that is eatable, though not a LOT of it per fruit. My daughter, the gourmet cook, well almost, was using some, and complaining how pricey it was. IT GROWS WILD HERE, I had some in my back yard till hubby build his shop in thier habitat.

CONGRATS on the SM status. I do not have pay pal nor do I want it, so no way to send Aussie dollars to Gath. I asked him if there was some other way, and I have seen other yanks not wanting to go through pay pal to become SM also.

Nice to have e-mail address of friends on here, If they do not show up on site for a while, then can check up on them. AND occasionally more private corrospendance needed, like for arranging to meet up, I am excited I might get to meet someone from the site!! Have you ever met cyber pals?

Yes, I have been lucky, and have met several.
Billy, Mel (emel), Mary/Bibra Lake, Dave/West Oz, GrannieMo/France, Anne/Albany, Lauren/Wangaratta (Rosemary's Daughter).....
We had a breakfast in Nov when GrannieMo was here in Perth, and another in Dec when Lauren was here....

and I have also had Dinner at Anne/Albany when Hubby & I were in Albany on Holidays last January.

OH MY, you have met many from the site. ANd all of them turned out well?

I have met cyber pals from other websites, or frineds of friends. One couple from South Australia, 3 years ago, and actually got to meet up with her twice while she was in the states. first at a meeting of members of a group, in MINNESOTA, and had a blast. We had another couple there from ENGLAND, so a real international meeting heheh. Later met same Aussie friend and took them sight seeing in ATLANTA for a weekend, they were on extended round the world 3 month vacation with 8 stops in the USA.

This the only site I go to...
apart from GrannieMo and Lauren, and Anne in Albany (400k =250miles south), all the rest live here in Perth.

Our first gettogether in Nov, it was meeting up with old friends. Lots of chatter, laughter and photos taken. You can view some of them on GrannieMo, Billy, Emels, pages, just go to their flikr pages..
My husband, Mel's husband & daughters, G/Mo husband also at the Breakfast..

Well, I once was on a gardening board, where i first got into computers and boards and chatting, that about 12 years ago I imagine. Met up with a GUY from that board, but hubby had to go with me, my first meeting heheh. He came bearing all kinds of gardening gifts for me, starts on plants and such. So all my meets have been really nice.

I first had coffee with Billy and Mel in August... my family wasn't too sure if I should be going...
Billy had emailed me photo of her and Mel, and I sent her one of me.... so we all knew who we were looking for....

I will check out the flickr and see.

MizTricia, thanks for responding to all my questions, & sorry I wasn't here when you were. I see you had a good chat with Rola & she answered some of your questions.
Passionfruit are used a lot in Oz, but as you say, they don't have a lot in them. They are strong in flavour though.
We didn't get that rain, but they are forecasting it again for today - won't hold my breath.
