This avatar is in honor of my 2 new canaries. They'll be here in 9 days.

They're a breed called Fife Canaries... the smallest of all the canary breeds, the same size as my finches.

The male is a blue variegated.

The female is a green variegated.

Their offspring will be both colors.

I didn't intentionally want the topp but if we don't do the occasional CP it will take us forever to get to 500. Can't wait to see pictures of your new babies.

I have a picture on my page of the birds I was able to chose from. So BOTH of my birds are in there. It's a larger version of this picture.

It's way too quiet on the site, so I might as well babble my way closer to 500.

I'm gonna feed the dogs in a few, then probably watch a movie.

I haven't decided which movie yet. Probably a comedy.

One thing I like about Kentucky is that you do not take the weather seriously (most of the time). The snow from last night has already melted.

Heidi, I think Suzanne uses a snow blower. She can't manage a shovel too easily.

Can't she have a snow shovel for her husband to use? What else are men good for other than manual labor????

Greetings....this looks like the first time I am going to be able to post for days... This computer is really p***ing me off!! When I click on 'choose' for the Comment Type the outline breaks up and it freezes... different to when you have bee a 'bad' girl and have been banned! It has me mystified...

Just in case I cannot post for another extended amount of time I had best say all I want to say now while the window of opportunity is there.

Heidi I hope IH is on the mend. Joy oh joy if one was to lose weight at Christmas...ha ha... Must admit that being unable to drink and enjoy the customary fizz certainly helps there. I am currently on 3 different meds that shouldn't be mixed with alcohol. Doesn't seem to make much difference to my 'spirit'... Seem to be half baked with or without booze...

Anyway...must tootle off to the doctor and let him read me the riot act again... my results are bound to give him cause... I am such a NAUGHTY Bean...

WOW...two posts in a row... if I didn't have to go to the doctors and have the 'squishy' thing appointment today you would probably never shut me up...I was so frustrated yesterday when none of my posts would go through...

I will try and pop in between getting results, being squished, hanging out washing etc...
