Anyway I have been away for a few days and find that we have moved again and are already on page 12.

My bathroom renovations are coming along. I now have very nearly a completed downstairs bathroom and the heating boiler has been changed. Upstairs bathroom is next on the agenda. Everything we ordered is in and awaiting delivery.
So very busy here still and then to add to problems my friend Celia has had a stroke and is in hospital.

You got a lot of talking to do Brenda to catch up!

Brenda you must have stopped at my intro 'Family anecdote warning'.... here's the post repeated.

I was talking to Mum last night and she told me about an experience my 13 year old niece recently had in Broome... (She is travelling around the country with her parents for a year). The local footy team apparently won their grand final. My brother and SIL were sitting outside a pub facing the street, my niece was facing them - thank goodness because the footy team decided to celebrate their win by streaking down the street! When they got to the other end they decided to amble their way back having a laugh and a chat.

That day or the next, I'm not sure which, niece and family went to the beach. They didn't realise that the beach had 2 ends - the end with the coffee shop, and the nudist end, and guess which end they ended up at. There were dozens of 'wrinklies' fishing, swimming, sleeping in the sun etc.

My niece says she has seen enough nekkid bodies to last her the rest of her life!

I had a phone call from her next door neighbour last Tuesday to say that her blinds were still closed in the afternoon and that she wasn't answering her telephone. As I have keys to her house I had to hot foot it(in the car) over there not knowing what to expect.
She had had a fall and couldn't get up (she has had two hip replacement ops) and had been there since the night before. Anyway to cut a long story short she was taken into hospital and was found to have had a stroke. Fortunately it hasn't affected her arms or legs and her speech isn't slurred, but she has problems saying what she means. Yesterday she was going on about her 'vegetable feet' it took us a long time to figure out that she meant her bunions!! They are transferring her to another hospital today which is about 15 miles away which will cause problems for people without transport. The hospital she is in at the moment is a 5 minute drive from me so it is very handy.

Oh Brenda, sorry to hear about your friend Celia.

Suzy, that brought a smile to my face. I wonder how many visitors wander on to these nudest beaches. My brother has told me there is one beside his daughters home in Port Kennedy. You have to remember to go right when you get to the beach to avoid it.
