Thank you too Vici. I thought it was his time but the vet had other ideas, which, as it turned out, was fine by me...and certainly by Scrappy!
I was ok right up until we got into the examination room, resigned to the task at hand, then I lost it. Once the vet had made his assessment, then had gone out to get the myriad of drugs, I went to pieces hugging Scrap for all he was worth.
Happy days.

Gail - I use to work for a vet when I was in my 20's and those were the toughest appointments...the grief of the owners was unbearable.

Vici, I was given a garage door opener back 36 years ago, after birth of my daughter. We had to go out 4 days a week to get and take my then MIL to work. Hubby did not like me leaving her in car with it running to go and close the door. I was not about to back out, turn off, close door, get in and start car again and told him so! I left it OPEN on a few occasions hehehe. He got the hint and bought me an opener! Loved it!

AT last, caught up, Brenda so sorry about your friend, know going into her house not knowing what you would find was a trying situation. So glad it was not a worse stroke, and maybe she can get some of her words back! You and Celia will be in my thoughts and proyers. Do keep us posted, we care about those you care about.

VICI, I do think a bit of complaining is a safety valve for women. If we did not complaine, vent a bit, we would explode all over the place when everything we have to deal with just kept building up pressure. Do not think I will ever explode, I complaine a lot about a lot of little things hehehe Vent and it is gone and forgotten, works for me.

I just went and check on my laptop...still not posting - so it's not the site it's my puter. It must be running a bunch of virus checks - that always ties up the darn thing.

I hate it when my computer does that! I changed the time to one when I'm not usually on line, but that doesn't help because I change around all the time..

Our desktop is hard wired to the DSL, while my laptop is on the network...so the desktop is always faster and better - but I get away with all my lolly gaggling in Sudokuland by doing it in my room on my laptop - hehehe

I can see Vici, and Gail (thought she went to bed, I know, GAIL BROKE THE SITE hehehe)Suzy and Mary in the magic window. Could be I can post cause I have not closed this window or tried to refresh?

Good to see everyone back again! I did get your message, just not in a timely manner. I think I need to check settings, thought I had a sound that pinged when something came to my IN box. OH, it would put it to my incoming mail, and now it does not.
I was making hubby dessert,Parfait( sp??) tinned cherry pie filling with fat free sugar free pudding from a mix on top! Almost home made kind of thing hehehe. About my speed this week, easy peasy as Rolanda says.

Yes, I often need to wind down with a game, or something mindless, chatting is more an upper, reason I do not frequent chat room my nights. Did that more than once and could not go to sleep!!

We have a brand new home here and SOMEBODY is already messing it up! Naughty naughty. I do think the main problem is that Sudokuland has become a popular place. I keep getting the massage that the server is overloaded.
