I am soooooooo slow today!!!!
I think I have spent too much time out visiting and google maps has used up our allocation....we are not due to go back to full speed until the 29th.....

I'm getting mighty tired, so I think I'll go to bed. I have a worry, though. One of the rescue dogs, Faith, is acting like she's had a small stroke. She's up in age... at least 15 years old... so it's not unexpected. I'll decide in the morning if there's anything that can be done.

Heidi, sorry to hear about Faith. Depending on how bad it is, she might be able to adjust. SIL had a dog that had one, a day or so later was up and seemed happy.

Broni - a walk will be good for both of you! Although my weight stubbornly refuses to move, I am definitely thinner than I was and not as tired...

Heidi - I hope things turn out okay for Faith.

Bean - I think hubby and I started out toooo relaxed about mess (obsessive mothers??) and now are less relaxed than we used to be.. but still a little tooo relaxes for comfort.

Woo Hoo - got all 3 loads of washing dry and off the line before the rain started!!

Oh no, I've just realised this means I will be standing in the rain to meet the bus. Sigh.

my hubby likes kids to trick-or-treat for as long as they want. why grow up too fast. as long as they are good and dress up, he is all for it. i got a little embarrassed with 13yo zachery going out last year tho. benny is way too cool to do it tho. my hubby is a marathon trick or treater. he sprints with the kids as fast as they can. he won't let them quit. they love it. last year each kid got 9lbs. of candy! i make them eat it as fast as they can. 2 bils are dentists and they say it is better to get it over with fast. prolonging it is harder on the teeth. hope hubby is home for halloween this year. i don't think i would measure up with fun dad.

had dinner at alisons tonight. cranberry-apple compote pork tenderloin, sooooo good!

Caught up with my sis today. She recently moved up to Cairns but is back here helping out her daughter who recently broke her elbow. Sis has been back for a couple of weeks but this was the first time our paths had crossed. I picked her up and took her out for a Gail!
