I quit years ago. Had a friend who was an alcoholic, and when I quit, the friendship was over. Ended up saving lots of calories and dollars. It hurt a bit, though.

Strange Ruby, I have a friend in AA and we have become closer over the years even though I love my drink, but she sure does love the coffees I make for her.

Very sad Ruby, but no one could help her until she was ready to get off your butt and help herself. At least my friend knows that alcohol is poison to her, nearly put champagne on her strawberries the other night just not thinking! Duh!

No answer for me from Fiona... My connection went down in the middle of sending it so it might not have gone through. Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out.

When I was 14 I was agonisingly shy. My parents sent me to ballroom dancing classes and it improved my confidence no end. I have been trying to convince Ebob that it would be a good idea for her but no way would she even consider it - until today! She absolutely loved her dance lessons today and wants more more more....

With all the dance shows on TV I am sure it must be coming popular again And it is something to have some idea of dancing when they start dating. (Did I see a shudder then Suzy?)

Fiona could have sent my reply on open page as all she said was NO. As far as I was concerned my answer fitted all the criteria and I cannot come up with anything different.

Gail, maybe that's why she's sending some responses today - to save up more for tomorrow!

Suzy how is you connection going. I was going through some old Emails to clean them out and found a couple of large ones you might enjoy.

Right now I'm using my dial up connection because the other one has been slow all day! It seems to come and go. If I'm on a slow connection I just don't open the big emails until it speeds up again so I'd love to see yours!

I may go to bed soon so will probably send them in the morning. Take me awhile to find them again. I have so much stuff needs cleaning out!

And did you get any progress with you Dip Ed. today. I know being on here is very tempting.

Me too! Hundreds of joke emails! I accidentally cleaned out my inbox the other day - a bulk delete of the wrong part! Luckily I had most of the good stuff stored somewhere else.
