Almost 45 minutes since the last post. Do people only post at the turn of the page any more??

I some times think the same thing Heidi. Although weekends the site does seem to be much quieter.
We are about to go out to a 70th birthday party so will not be around for awhile.

I just got back from my date. Dylan doesn't think a night out with mom counts as a date. He just took a shower and we are now going to watch a movie together in my bed. He'll be in bed, I'll be at the computer.

Heidi, you can't just post at the the turn of the page. If people don't post, the page will never turn.

I just looked back at the times. I was gone a little more than an hour and there are only 3 posts in that time.

I am watching the Boston Red Sox game. My son is a Red Sox fan, so instead of rooting for Tampa Bay, I am rooting for Boston. They are leading 2 - 1 in the 3rd inning.

BOOOOOOO! What's happening to the Rays???
I'm watching it, too, Tami...sorry, but I'm the complete opposite of a Boston fan.
Ultimately I will be routing for the Phillies cos the American League doesn't play real baseball (the pithcer must bat or it's fake baseball!)

Rolanda, I didn't take sugar in tea or coffee until just before my wedding. I had surgery on my jaw and was on a soft food diet. My weight dropped to 93lb/42kg. I had to do something to not look like a skeleton on my wedding day, so I started added empty calories to things, including tea and coffee. Now I could do with losing weight but still have sugar or sweeteners....

Liz - I adored your singing! Such sweet songs (all that talk about sugar had me thinking of that adjective)

Mitchell went to a dance tonight and they are supposed to wear pajamas. He is wearing his Boston sleep pants, a Boston t-shirt, a Boston baseball hat, a Boston watch and his blue slippers. He is even wearing his Boston boxers but would be mad if I told you that.

Hubby has added something to our schedule. He has told Ebob she can play baseball with the 'local' team. That means practice on Wednesdays and games on Sundays. The practice isn't too far away, but I tutor on Wednesday nights. He says he will negotiate getting off work early. The games are an hour away...

Our date was great but he said that it is not a date because I am mom. We went out for Italian Ices and then came home. I would have gone someplace else but I brought one for hubby and it would have melted. Right now he is in my bed watching Scooby-Do.

(I won't tell him you told if you don't Tami)

Have other Aussies been checking out the cheap domestic and international flights? $199 one way to Tokyo or something crazy like that .... thinking about it.... lots to NZ, Bali etc ... very tempting

I keep thinking about an International meet for us all - a couple years down the road so we can save for it.
Is Fiji middle ground? Wouldn't that be cool? We could book it over a week so people could make it when they could. If I were to travel that far, I'd be going for the whole time!
Mr. Vici isn't interested in going so I would be flying solo (yippeeee!)

VV, sounds like a great idea. Mitchell thinks that instead of having a big party for his Bar Mitzvah, he would rather spend the money on a trip to Israel. I am not sure what we are going to do yet or which would be cheaper.
