I was going to let others have them for at least a dozen posts after getting my 3 in a row...

I just had 2 posts vanish into the ether! I'd probably be right behind June if that didn't happen.

I have only lost one so far, think it was some time yesterday. Very annoying it was too!

I've missed at least 6 TOPPs from vanished posts. I may end up not trying due to frustration. It only happens when I'm going to TOPP, too. Gremlins again?

Could it be something to do with posting very quickly then? Or do you lose them at other times too?

Heidi, I have lost quite a few when trying to TOPP. It does not seem to like too few words at times, or just does not want to turn the page!

I shall try to avoid 1 word TOPP attempts, and see what happens.

i have never lost a post. like i said, i must be living right!

Just had a thought. If I try to type the same thing as I have before my post disappears. For example, 'Good morning' or 'Good maen' with nothing else in the post. I learned not to do that so it hasn't happened for ages. I'm going to test that now....

well, i have been working like mad today. i am is for a late lunch break.
gotta go do some shopping still. the kids are playing so cute! henry-6 and his cousin are building forts outside and playing funny little boy stuff- like hiding from bad guys and making plans to catch them. i love it when they use their imaginations!

suzy- keep trying to figure out why you are having posting problems, but i'm telling you, i got it all figured out!

Okay, I've just read an article that has convinced me I need to have sugar in my coffee rather than artificial sweetener...

A study has shown that sweet drinks give people a sugar rush that may help supply the brain with the fuel needed to suppress outspoken opinions.

Apparently suppressing negative opinions takes energy an if we're low on sugar we can be nastier/more prejudiced etc....

I've lost a post or two before but I thought it was my imagination.

There's nobody here to talk to. I am going to have to start talking to myself. Only 20 more posts until TOPP.

Suzy, I got that article months ago and was looking for it the other day when MizT and others were talking about their diet soda drinks. I seldom use sweeteners as I have always classed them as another chemical. I also do not use a lot of sugar.

I'm baaaack.
But I still need to finish unloading feed, then do the feeding chores. I think I've been too busy 'cause I feel like taking a nap.

On second thoughts I think it was a different article. More damaging to health than outspoken thoughts!

Heidi, just because you are starting to feel better it does not mean you are over the mono. Overexert yourself too much and you will be back where you started!! take care. NAG NAG.

I've always hated the taste of artificial sweeteners. To me they taste like a chemistry lab, and I've never detected any sweetness in them. I have a sweet tooth, and use sugar and LOTS of honey.

June... I don't think of that as nagging, I call it caring.

I'm back! Sorting finished, 3rd load of washing in the machine...

I have read lots of articles about artificial sweeteners and don't believe they do any harm, other than possibly to sabotage weight loss efforts by maintaining our sweet tooth. Although interesting, the above is only based on one study and would need to be investigated more. Having said that, I choose to believe sugar will make me a nicer person because then I can have more of it!! !! !! !! !

(I use less than a tsp of sugar in a cup of coffee - does that explain a lot?)

as the 2 daughters that were in the house should have known better than to let her on the treadmill,
the most I think you should do, is if hubby is a handy man see if he can do a patch up for them like June suggested.
