Family Anecdote Warning:

d2 invited a friend over today to practice a song they might sing at assembly on Friday. The only problem was that they had forgotten the tune again. They has a sheet with music, but none of us can play - though we do have a piano. I googled, no luck! So I copied the sheet, got out my red pen, and counted off the F A C E and Every Good Boy Deserves Fruit and wrote letters above the notes. The # thing had me beat so I just hit a black key kind of near the note I thought it might be. I fiddled for a bit, then called d2 and friend in and said 'does this help'? Fumbled through it a couple of times, d2 said 'oh, that's it!' and sang something that sounded nothing like what I had played. They happily went off and practiced their song...

Whose birthday? What did I miss? Is someone hiding a birthday????
