I put on coffee, you will have to take my word for it, cause the graphics will not load. they must be cold this morning.

I blew my warm breath on the graphics and thawed them out. It is a bit chill here this morning, 31F (0C) not my favorite temp today.

Hubby brought in a couple of my big pots of house plants that were vacationing on the back porch. I forgot another of them, and he would not know if I did not tell him. I am thankful I do not have to depend on his planting skills for my food hehehe

One more freezing night, then back to more seasonable weather, that is good. should not be this cold for the kiddiwinks and trick or treating. We do not get kids here, houses to far apart. Many churches have a planned activity for children and something they call Trunk or Treat, cars park in the church parking lot, and the children can go from car to car to receive their treats from the back of the vehicle. Safer for the kids, not on the streets with traffic.

Here briefly before retiring for the evening.
Son has just left (will they never leave!) and finished watching the silly cop show, so catching up then off to bed.
June, we didn't end up having the metal meat...long story! Hubby cooked us all his famous pepper steaks with cream sauce, mmm, yummy! Choc Mud cake didn't suck either!

Spend these couple of days recharging your batteries June, you need it.

JUNE, Thanks for asking, and no, have not received a phone call about the test last week, so I am hoping all was normal. Looked pretty normal what part I could see, but I only saw one part of it. the test readout and pictures has to go to a specialist for him to read, and then results back to my doc, so it all might be sitting in some in-box somewhere still. I go back to my doc 10/10, and I will get him to go over my results with me then.

I also am waiting on biopsy from a spot. Doc was not sure this one was a skin cancer, and he has always been sure it was with all before, so there is hope on that one!! will know about same time, 10/10. If I have not heard by then, I am to phone his office to get results. they are very good so far at the dermatologists office, but things do fall through the cracks on occasion.

BRONI, hope your docs find some little piddly thing wrong that is easily fixed and get you over this long haul of poor health sweetie! Sending all the best your way today.

Hello dear SA friends! Oh my...almost 30 pages to read since I was here a few days ago - I'm afraid I won't be able to catch up on all that.
Missed you all terribly, but been in a whirlwind - off to Reno all day Monday for acupuncture appointments and to get some of the bigger shopping done (Costco, Home Depot and such)

I tried again and it wouldn't go through!

Yesterday I spent getting fitted for the glasses that broke while I was on vacation...funny thing was that I broke 3 pairs (some the cheapy kind) over a period of a week - what does that mean? Maybe I just don't want to see anything too clearly! Had to pick up a couple of cheapies to replace the others that I keep strewn all over the house in strategic locations.

Good morning Vici! That's a big shopping trip...and to Reno to boot! Did you get some fun in as well?

...and finally, I'm hosting my book club tonight and have been busy getting the house picked up and the meal put together. We have our semi-annual dental appointments (cleanings) today...so my time is limited again. I will be home all weekend and hope to catch up with you all then.

June - sounds like you are getting a little time to take care of yourself - hope you feel rested. Keeping all of you in my prayers these days. It takes FOREVER to get them done before I sleep...but it gives me great peace to do them.

We're going to a birthday party this Sat night with a Halloween theme. My costume was easy - black top and swishy skirt, black boat, hat, broom, but any ideas for hubby? He expects me to find something, but I can't. Daughter has devil horn hairclips, so cute.

That was black boa....always going to make a CD of songs. I'm thinking of Monster Mash, but need some ideas.
