The water situation is bad here too - too much rain in some places, nowhere near enough in others. While delivering the belly busters I am astounded to see sprinklers going and people hosing down driveways. Really gets me going! Our grass is growing fine without watering!! If it gets bad over summer I might divert some grey water to it, if there's any left over after I water the gardens....

I know what 2F has said to me about her 2 previous minders, non of it was pretty. And the reason she came to me was that some one had called to complain about the other minder and she had been suspended. A bit fishy given 2Fs behaviour.

Do you know any of the previous minders this person had used? Maybe you could get together and find out what nasty things she has been saying about them. If she isn't happy with the childcare you and others provide maybe she should stay at home and look after the child she gave birth to.

Nicky, I kind of figured you were about ready to do just that kicking. Take a good cleansing breath, blow out slowly and go ummmmmmm! Take time to collect your reason before you do anything.

I write letters on the computer and put into a file called Send Later. I sleep on it, then rewrite or delete. almost never send it as written in the heat of the moment. Sometimes just the writing ( or venting as here) is enough to satisfy me.

With all the deep breathing I have done over the last few days ,I am in danger of hyperventilating.

Well ladies , need to rock and roll here too.

All being well, my niece and her #2 baby, (#1 is being looked after niece's mum) are visiting my mum today.
So will be going to mum's when I get the call to say they are there, and go and have a cuddle with little 3 month old Isabelle,
oh and chat with mum and niece.

Things to do before I go, eg feed the machine ( never ending), make soup ( not that I will be having any, out on a Dinner Date with Hubby), exercise at Curves .....

HI MAMA< glad you got an all clear from your doc.

Suzy, daytime meds are an optional dose of my non narcotic med for the old bones achies, and my blood pressure medication. Hoping doc will change that BP one tomorrow, not doing a lot and has a lot of side effects, including making me sleepy and dizzy and head-achy.

Vici, glad leg one of your trip went successfully. How did Mike manage? Did he drive some? Do you have wifi in your accommodation for tonight?

NICKY, that is why you breath out sloooooly! keeps you from hyperventilating. And if you do, no big deal, either a paper bag to breath into, or you stop breathing till CO2 blood levels build back up again. Hyperventilating is self limiting, just scary to watch. :)

Come on Suzy, race you to the Topp! We gotta get ahead of eaa while she is on short rations of air time! and BTW, thanks for the update there. NO way I am going to catch June anytime soon. but we gotta keep that widdle furry nose from getting up to the top of the list!

Suzy, we have eliminated 3 classes of BP meds already! This would be number 4, unless he wants to go back to ones I had problems with and try a slightly different one!

I just do not do well on many/most meds, have never taken many and having to take something for rest of life is a bit of a problem. Doc H is a good doc, he will keep trying for me.
