I toured NZ two years ago and it's a beautiful country. My daughter, her husband and their 3yo son have recently moved to Christchurch where her husband is originally from so I'll have to visit there again one day.

Andy. I love Dunedin. I visited there in March with my husband. My youngest sister lives in Queenstown and we stayed with her and then went driving around the South Island. It is a very beautiful place, I especially like the west coast.

Welcome, Andy to Sudoku Land. Hope you hae plenty of time on your hands - this is a site that tends to get you hooked! I live on the Murray River which is the border between NSW and Victoria and I think it is a little different to Dunedin! Flat and hot in the summer, although we have been getting a lovely bit of winter rain, whcih we haven't seen for a few years.
Have you been getting any of those awful storms that have been hitting the east coast of australia? Theey have caused enormous damage and loss of life.

to Sudokuland - enjoyed Dunedin and want to return to the So. Island. It is a lot like Oregon - the 45th paralel runs through both. I laughed when our tour guide refered to Douglas Fir as 'Exotic' trees.
