Thought I may as well sign up as I've been taking sudoku breaks on this website at breakfast and lunch every day for over 3 months!
At first I found I'd lost the knack of doing sudoku in the paper, but have regained this skill by frequent visits to the local coffee shop. I don't buy newspapers so do the puzzle in the shop's copy. And there is no way I am ever letting any sort of puzzle book in the house again - too much time lost in the past.
Just in case you are wondering - I do go into the coffee shop for something other than to write in their paper. Usually have a pot of tea and one of their fabulous gingerbread men and late in the day to give someone else a chance at the sudoku. (I love gingerbread)

Hello Wattle Park - I take it that's where you're from in Adelaide.
Welcome to the site. It's nice to see someone actually join these days to do the puzzles.
Enjoy your gingerbread men.
Cheers,
Anne

Oh dear.. Peter has said it so well...
So well in fact I will repeat it..
Welcome to the site of international fruit loops and sudokuphiles, Wattle Park.
Now.. how does Anne know you are from Adelaide? Is she guessing? Wattle Park isn't far from me.. used to run my dog there 25 years ago..when I could still run..
I know what you mean about letting puzzle books into the house.. I periodically have to even take a break from this site to break the compulsion..
Enjoy the funny farm Ciao.

Sorry to disappoint Anne but Bean is right.
I just googled both Parks to compare sizes, although having visited both this was just a double check. Take a close look at the satellite view and see if you can find the picnic shelter tram in the park in Victoria. You'll have a bit of trouble locating the round pond - long gone are the days when one could stroll around it looking at the fish and water lilies.
Back to the Sudoku- do we have any of those giant quintuplet type sudokus on this site?

Welcome anyway WattlePark..I just saw your comment on the hard puzzle today..I do the puzzle before seeing the picture or the comments..almost a religion with me these days! But a giant quintuplet would mean I never got a coffee at all!! So you are a Welsh dancer as well as a Victorian!!

Taking a rest this morning after both Welsh and Scottish dances yesterday. If the promised no wind happens today may be able to safely walk in the park. Need to check out if any of my favourite trees gave in to the high winds this week.
